You drew these pictures very well, especially the Pokemon. I love Pokemon by the way. I think the drawing of Piplup was the best. They were all good, but I think the forth picture could use a little more work. Other than that, these photos were great, and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Good luck with your writing and drawing/photography~bluewaterlily.

Your drawings are really cool, especially the Pokemon. The fourth one wasn't as great, but they were all pretty good. I liked the colors, they really made it. I can't wait to see more of your work, so please keep posting. These were the best I've seen yet!

Hi, jolene! KD here to review.

1: Yup, definitely looks like Piplup! Good job on the shading! I only wish you had stronger and more confident lines, since I can see that some lines are too weak and light.

2: I wish the marking on his forehead was a little bit more visible. His 'fingers' are missing on his right hand. Again, stronger lines!

3: You did the best with this Pokemon! Shading is good, same with the eyes. And you have strong lines! Nice.

4: I love his eyes. They show a lot of expression. They make him look angry, or as if he wants revenge, or as if he's really suspicious of someone. I can tell, though, that you end up erasing some of your lines in each picture. That's fine, but, I shouldn't be able to tell that you've erased lines, since your starting lines shouldn't be leaving deep marks in the paper. I think it's best to start sketching your picture first, and when you finally like it, go over and darken all the lines.

Hope I helped! Keep up the good work-

KD

Hmm... it's the same for me.

I can't actually see the pictures. I thought that it was just me but then I saw Thefadedphotograph's comment. That's rather strange, I have to say. It's bugging me now...

Maybe it's because mine and Thefadedphotograph's computers are simply dodgy or something. Weird... O.o
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

I can't see them either. :(
Charlie Bucket: You can eat the grass?
Willy Wonka: Of course you can! Everything in this room is eatable, even *I'm* eatable! But that is called "cannibalism," my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies.

Hi jolene!

These are really good! All you need it practice, I'm not saying that theses are bad.

One thing that really popped out at me was, the stuff in the red.

Remember to draw lightly at first, then after, you can darken it.

Keep up the good work!

Yay! I can see them now. 8)

You've already gotten a lot of good reviews so mine might be rather short and quick. Out of the 4 pictures, my favourite is probably the one of Piplup. I think that that one was pretty good. My least favourite one is probably the fourth one, the drawing of the boy. As a whole though, these are rather good.

The main problem, I think, is that you don't really press down hard enough with the pencil. Mind you, the fact that your camera isn't very good doesn't help either. Another thing that I noticed was that you didn't always shade things completely correctly. By that, I mean you didn't shade things as much as you could have. Don't be afraid to experiment when shading. If it doesn't end up looking good, you can always erase it.

Keep drawing,

xoxo Rhian

Well. :D It's a start. These all seem like doodles to me. You know me. I'm picky with my art because of the skills that I have --- not saying that I'm the best, just that I'm good but need to improve.

But the thing is about these is that this is how it all starts. These kind of drawing slowly get better and eventually art becomes second nature. The idea behind the shading you have in one of them, I can't remember, was good for a beginner.

Keep going for it. A lot of people will tell you to practice drawing by recreating still-lifes and drawing repetitive circles until they get better and more . . . circle-ish, and while those are good things to practice I don't beleive they are the best. What got me into it all was creating things and using my imagination. Exercise your imagination. Read unusual stories about unatural and/or senseless occurances. Examine the famous art from people like Alex Pardee, Dali, and James Jean --- or others. And the whole thing with imagination is that while you're creating something you can learn new and rather unique techniques. Take ideas from all over and mix them up, try to make things that other people haven't made.

And work on you pencil stroke. :D
