And don't come and say, "Durh, I don't wear any make-up, I'm cool/a boy. Make-up sucks." Because then you're just so not cool.

Anyway, basically, I was just talking to Demeter and we discovered that we both wear the same shade of Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, and it got me wondering, what do YWSers in general wear?

So here's my list- I don't wear it all everyday, in fact most days I don't wear anything. But still.

Rimmel- some concealer that I don't wear because I don't need it, but it's the only one I have?
Special Eyes 121 Azure Shimmer
Jelly Gloss 090 Jelly Baby

Maybelline- Dream Matte Mousse in 010 Ivory.

Benefit- Some Kind-a Gorgeous font de teint (lighter shade)
Instant Brow Pencil (darker shade)
Georgia Peach
High Beam

Bourjois Paris- Kohl Contour in Ultra Black, 11 Bleu Original, 13 Argent Creatif and 73 Gris Ingeniuex
Liner Clubbing 83 Electro Blue

Max Factor- MasterpieceMax in black
Masterpiece Beyond Length in silver.

The Body Shop- Cheek Bloom in 01 Desert Rose
Shimmer Cubes Palette 06 (shades: honeycomb, dark chocolate, marshmallow and choc chip)

Clinique- Colour Surge Eyeshadow Duo 106 lilac truffle
Almost Make-up 03 Medium

Um. I'm not expecting you to all go into that much detail. But that was fun! The rest are just dregs that I literally never wear, I rarely wear a lot of that anyway.

So. Tell me!

I don't know the names of the shades exactly, but I can give approximations. :P

I rarely wear makeup (presentations and days I don't want to look tired covers it, lol) but I do have a surprising amount.

Body shop:

Powdered foundation a few shades darker than the lightest.
Black eyeliner (liquid and pencil)
Eye shadow in light purple, light pink, and light blue
Cherry-pink lipstick
Cherry-pink lip stain
Very thin lip and cheek stain (it's cherry-pink as well, but it only tints the skin a mild amount)
Dark dusty rose blush

Misc. brands (will fill in later)

Pink eyeliner pencil
Bright pink eyeshadow

Believe it or not, this amount of bright pink isn't exclusively from my like of pink. :P When I was doing dance performances I had to have really bright, pink, makeup. Because the Body Shop doesn't tend to be that bright, I can actually wear this stuff for presentations.

Make Up Store:
some kind of a glittery eye liner in Mysterium

And don't come and say, "Durh, I don't wear any make-up, I'm cool/a boy. Make-up sucks." Because then you're just so not cool.

Amen!

Anyway, basically, I was just talking to Demeter and we discovered that we both wear the same shade of Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, and it got me wondering, what do YWSers in general wear?

Maybelline- Dream Matte Mousse in 010 Ivory.

Wow! Me too... That's creepy...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hmm... I'm going to have to check out my make-up bag! Okay! This is the stuff I mainly use.

Maybeline Dream Matte Mousse in 010 Ivory.

Maybeline Define-A-Lash volume mascara - black.

Maybeline expertwear blusher in rose.

17 Instant Glow Bronzing Powder - Light.

17 Blusher brush... no idea what type.

Garnier Skin naturals Roll-on - for dark circles under eyes.

I don't wear piles of make-up, so my make-up lasts a long time. Therefore, I don't waste all of my money on it. WOOP. My favourite brand, I think, is Maybeline. Either that or 17. You can probably tell though because of my list. I find it really creepy, by the way, how three of us have the same foundation... O.o

As well as the things I listed, I have a load of other rubbish that I really need to get rid of...
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

I'm definitely neither cool nor a boy, I suppose. This thread reminded me that I need to get around to cleaning out my make-up bag. I have too much, and I almost never wear any of it! xD

how three of us have the same foundation

make that four. O__O

Here goes:

Rimmel:
Special Eyes eyeshadow in Jet Black
Glam'Eyes mascara in Extreme Black

Maybelline:
Dream Matte Mousse in Ivory--just like a lot of you!
Dream Matte Powder in Ivory
Expert Wear Eyeshadow in Seashore Frosts, Emerald Isle, and Crown Jewels

Lancome:
Definicils High Definition Mascara in Black

Palladio:
Herbal Eyeshadows in Golden Bronze and Fairy Pink

CoverGirl:
Eye enhancers in Stormy Lights and Dream Eyes

Avon:
Glimmersticks eyeliner in blackest black---this is probably my favorite brand of eyeliner :D

C.O. Bigelow
Mentha Lip Shine
My Favorite Lip Balm (that's really what it's called!)
Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm

Most days, I just wear the eyeliner, one of the lip balms and go. Or, like today, nothing. Haha.

Hahah, this thread is awesome. :D

MAC is my go-to, I'm a sucker for MAC. Which is bad, cause it's somewhat expensive, so then my makeup tends to be like half MAC and half cheap wal-mart stuff.

Here's what I wear on a regular basis:

- MAC "Teddy" eyeliner/ MAC "Industry" eyeliner (those two are like my life)

- and then some type of foundation... right now its Maybelline Mineral Power (not a typo, I guess that's what it really is called). I see you guys all really love Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse haha. I used to wear that stuff all the time, too, but now I'm on a phase where I only wear powder foundations... I dunno why. But I agree that that stuff is pretty kick-ass.

And then to dress up I add:

- MAC "Mulch" eyeshadow/ a host of other eyeshadows in my collection

- Great Lash Mascara

- Maybelline blush, don't know the kind as I lost the top

And then I have tonsss of other makeup in my bag, random stuff that I've collected over time and use occasionally, but these are my essentials/ regulars. Haha.

Fun topic :D

I'm a cool guy therefore I cannot participate in this thread. That's actually not a very good argument as David Bowie used to wear loads of makeup...

I like sticking my finger into all the little tester pots, especially the Barry M ones because they're so colourful. I can make my hand into this psychedelic rainbow of sparkle and it's purty. ^^

Although I don't wear Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, that is the one foundation I've seriously considered buying -- I only backed down because of the cost. Maybe Nate's put something spooky in it.

Cost? It's only seven euros a pot or something? Maybe it's more where you are? I use it as cover-up, mostly, or in the winter when looking ivory-skinned is okay.

I'm not a boy and I'm not cool, but I still don't wear make-up.

Though, I will wear eye shadow from time to time and some mascara. I don't know what the brands or anything are, it's all just stuff I came across in life. xD I mostly have stage make-up that I never wear since I don't dance anymore.

But I am thinking of looking into some basic stuff (cover-up, mascara, etc) to start wearing every once and a while. Anyone have any good (and cheap) suggestions?
Got YWS?

When you say cheap, I'm going to go ahead and assume you mean high-street, rather than Chanel, Lancome etc. Whether it's cheap by high-street standards or not.

I love Bourjois Paris eyeliner, and it is really pretty cheap. And obviously Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (heck, you're a YWSer, so get 010 Ivory :P. Or, you know, whatever suits your skin tone). You can't go wrong with Max Factor- especially for mascara, but it can be expensive, so Maybelline's not too bad for Mascara either. Rimmel London... eh. Don't get any of their skin products, they're awful. Also, I used to be a big fan of 17, not so much anymore though...

Those would be my suggestions :o.

Cool idea! Anyway, I wouldn't call myself cool and ehh I'm definitely not a guy so I shall reply to this thread. :smt002

I don't wear much make up, it's more like a collection of uncommon brands sitting on a shelf in my basement but I do wear some to special occasions or when me and my friends make each other look like clowns at a sleep over and smear lipstick all over our faces.

E.L.F. Cosmetics "Sugar Kiss" Eye Shadow. Purple and Pink Combo.
Sinful Colors Okay, so this is nail polish. I'm not sure if you'd call this make up but it's in there. " Queen Of Beauty" Is i guess what the colors called. It's basically silver glitter in polish form. : )
Mono " Viva Diva" Haha, yeah I just now figured out the name. It's a lot of different shades of red lipstick.

And occasionally I use my mum's eye liner or mascara cause she never uses it. :pirate3:

Ahhh, I use Clinique! xD I get my foundation and face powder from them. I don't do any of the colorful stuff. Just the face tone, and I've pretty fair skin, so it's not at all dark. (In other words, I don't know the exact type. Type 2, maybe?)

I'm just excited that I'm not the only one using Clinique. XD Whenever I go there to get my stuff, I'm always the only one there. I do need more of those oil sheets though. I'm running low, and it's still hot outside...

Actually, the Clinique I have are mostly testers my godmother got- she's a pharmacist and there's a lot of stuff they're supposed to get rid of because they don't need it anymore and she's given me some really nice stuff. So that's where I get mine- but you're not alone, Jabber, loads of my friends use Clinique (because they always seem to have more money than I do) xD

Nail polish! We haven't even discussed that! I have a random collection, but my friend gave me this really nice set of different colours, one's a really cool, sparkly bright red, and I'm wearing one called Hippy Chick that's a just-pink sparkly thing that catches the light and looks really nice. And I really like coral nail polish, but I haven't bought any, I just borrow it off my friend (because, as I say, I'm broke...)

I tend to prefer darker nail colours, navy and purple and the like. The one I'm wearing at the moment is this really nice sort of raspberry-wine-red colour, but it's terribly chipped and really needs replacing. Pretty much all of mine come are Barry M, because they were on a 2 for £5 offer at boots for quite a while.

I don't tend to wear a lot of make-up because I'm usually busy trying not to be late for things, so I don't have a great deal:

Lancome: Virtuose mascara (someone bought me it from the duty free and it's awesome)
MaxFactor: Mastertouch concealer 303 Ivory
Natural Collection: Eyelines black eyeliner
Avon: Smooth Minerals earth eyeliner, Colour Trend hot chocolate eyeshadow
No7: Island Sea eyeshadow
Revlon: Vital Radience rosebud lipstick

I have a bunch of really nice stuff from Lush too, their Mint Julips lip scrub is divine! I have to hide it from one of my friends because when he realises that I have it with me he just tries to eat it.

I have been looking at the dream matte mousse for a while (and then at my very empty purse). I guess I should keep my eye open for the ivory once I have money again, ;)
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)

I actually have my make-up bag right next to my computer cuz I have just brought it home from my show. Here it is:

L'OREAL- True match naturale foundation in soft ivory

Maybelline- the colossal volum express mascara in classic black

Clinique- eye shading pencil in charcoal brown (as eyeliner)

Random extremely cheap brand without a name that I've had for years but still wear for some inexplicable reason- brown and nude eyeshadow

and I don't wear blush because I have unnaturally pink cheeks. But when I'm forced to onstage, it's

Clinique- pink plush

oh, and Clinique- lipstick in Buff

I usually wear a pink gloss, but we had to have skin tones.

So, yup. I don't usually wear foundation, and I only wear eyeshadow once in a while. But those are my make up bag.
Honey, you should see me in a crown.
