I seem to be obsessed with tigers at the moment. Okay, I admit it... I'm always obsessed with tigers. But that's not the point! The point it I've done another drawing and here it is! Using graphite pencil.
Any critiques welcome! Sorry for the bad quality, the camera isn't the best one. But oh well.

Hello there Durriedog Strange obsession you have here
I think that this is a beautiful drawing. Eventhough it's not clear, the detail is captured beautifully. Now, I'm no expert in art. I don't even review this forum that much so take this a comment, a positive one Good job
Nice work! The stripes on the cheek are a little confusing, though, did you come up with them yourself, or were they copied from a picture? I suggest you study the stripes of a tiger a little bit. not to copy any pictures completely, but just to get the feel of the various patterns (no two patterns are the same). You have a weird, eye-like thing in the lower left which distract my eyes a little bit. Also, from what I can see, the whiskers are too long. Unless tigers whiskers really are that long', since I really know nothing about them. Good job! Get a scanner soon!
Tips for clearer image, first, because I would love to see you re-post this so we can critique it a little better! Try taking it outside and photographing it. It seems to me that your camera doesn't like the low lighting, and if you use a flash it will blow out your contrast.
Structurally, this is very nice. The only anatomical thing I see here is in the lower jaw. Tigers do have a protrusion of fur that makes it seem as though they have an underbite, but because you have the nose angled so, it seems awkward. Do you have a reference photo we can compare this to? Right now, it seems as though you have inadvertently straightened his nose to make it more horizontal, whereas in reality his muzzle should be less severe.
The stripes and contrast are very nice, especially toward the left-hand side (where his muzzle is). I think you could darken the shadows in his ears and on the nape of his neck--right now it comes across as being a little flat, but that is easily altered. Also, the angle of his neck along the back seems strangely arced to me. I can't quite figure out how he is positioned that his neck would look like that. Maybe flatten and extend it a little?
Beautiful work!
