Hello there. So, I'm a newb here... and slighty crazy. I've been writing since... oh it has to have been since preschool. Yeah so pretty much since I learned the ABCs. I like to write an abundance of genres. I write fantasy, sci-fi, horror/thriller, and realistic fiction. I write some feeble poetry, but mostly I write short stories and novels though.
My favorite color is red, and I adore Dustfinger from Inkheart. I'm really excited to be joining this site; I've heard fantastic things about it!

Hello there, Masquerade! Welcome to YWS! I'm Selene, and it's so nice to meet you. ^_^

I love your avatar! It reminds me of the Dust Man or whatever his name is. You know, the guy who brings the fairy dust? It's kid stuff.

A person who reviews and writes a variety of genres is certainly welcome here! Most people just skip over to their favorite genre and stay in that forum. Speaking of forums, you should try out your hand at critiquing. It's lots of fun and will benefit your writing tremendously. I can't even express to you how much critiquing has helped me grow as a writer.

Also, you can make so many friends just by posting around YWS. There is an amazing chatroom you can access from the main page, as well. Groups are wonderfully engaging, so find one you like and join it! You can even create your own blog here. Go explore, because there are tons of things to do.

Have a question? Want a review? PM me and I'll be happy to help you out! :D

Oh thanks about my avatar. That's Dustfinger, though I see what you mean. He does look like the Dust Man thing!

o: I love Inkheart! Haven't read the third one yet (don't tell me what happens!), so I'm psyched for that as well. I named this cool little collectible horse I got in Rockport, Ma after Gwin, the horned marten. ;) That is his name, right? It's been so long since I read it, so my memory's a little rusty.

Anywho, welcomewelcomewelcome! I'm glad you came along to check us out! Feel free to PM me with any questions or comments you may have, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Heyo Masq!

Haha, I love red. Though I love it more if it's a combination of red and black. But then again, my fave colours keep changing.

And I love Dustfinger. The first book's my favourite. Yours?

Oh and craziness is always welcomed here. :)

Hope to see you around soon.

Cheers,
~Lava

Probably the second one, though the ending was killer!
