This is another of my attempts at photography. This time I tried something different. :)
By the way, if any of you guys use deviant art, a few of my photos are posted there as well.

Hey, Mimi! It's been a while since I reviewed something of yours.

I'm not too sure what to say about this photo. I enjoy photos with light and glass and water, because the possibilities of cool photographs you can result in with them are nearly endless. However, the light in this photo is more a handicap than a benefit here, because it's bleaching out the left side and giving that odd reflection on the glass. I think this would be absolutely splendid if it were on a solid white background (either through photoshopping or placing something white behind it like a sheet of paper) so that it stands out more and doesn't pull our eyes to the back with the darker shapes. I think you have an interesting subject here, but the photo itself is a bit distracting since we're not given much ease with background objects in where to look. :)

The bigger the issue, the smaller you write. Remember that. You don’t write about the horrors of war. No. You write about a kid’s burnt socks lying on the road. You pick the smallest manageable part of the big thing, and you work off the resonance.
