Hi Waterlilygirl!

#1 I like how your hair is over your face and yeat you can still see your eyes. Also I llike how you're looking into a different direction. Also, it's black and white, which makes it look extra cool!

#2 I don't like this one as much as the first one. around the eyes it's too blurred, and I think you should have cropped it where the necklace stops.

#3 Ok with this one, just remeber that you're really supposed to be posting up photographs that you tooko time with. Not one's that you took randomly at school.

#4 Cute, but I think she might just be a little too covered in the sheet

#5 I think this one is very cool, but I can't actually telly where her eyes are

#6 Wow, this is so good. I love the setting, the landscape and the street lamp. Great!!

#7 Again, great! It kind of looks like three things mushed into one picture. The water, the sand and the clouds.

#8 Did you arrange them before you took the photo? Because it looks quite proffesional!

#9 I like it, but the green fencing (?) kind of ruins it. BUt it;s not like that was your fault!

My favourite is number 6, good job!

These are awesome, my review might be cut off because I have to leave in like 3:00 minutes.

1. I love everything about this, and I feel like I have seen it before. It is a really weird feeling sense I don't know you. :D

2. Was your hair moving when you took this picture? Because if it wasn't it is a bit blurry.

3. This picture just doesn't seem professional, yet at the same time it does. I think the black and white gives that affect, but I don't think it is anything special.

4. There would be way better if you had better if you had good lighting it would make the difference between snapshot and professional.

5. This is soooo good. I love it and wouldn't make any changes!

Hey there, Water Lily,

The first three of these photos don't strike me as very unique or interesting. Self portraits are pretty hard to get as interesting because the major of them seem rather like snap shots to me at first standing, so I won't critique the first three.

I think the photo of the cat is cute in its idea, but the flash makes the colors off kilter. I would equalize the colors of the blanket, so that it was even, rather than the corner to the left be that greyish pink. I think the idea behind the photo is wonderful, but the harshness of the photo's colors makes it look like a snap shot.

The next one of the cat is adorable, although much of it is out of focus for us to look at and ironically too much in focus as well. I would kind of generously spread that blur around, dear, so that the nose is our primary focus; the muzzle's kind of leading us to look at something, but the way the focus is placed kind of puts it at I'm not so sure what we're looking at. :)

I don't like the photo of the lamp, for some reason. I find the sky beautiful, the leaves, in their darkness, elegant, and the lamp a nice touch, but there's something about the light from the lamp that offsets the photo to me and makes it look not so great. Be sure to steady your camera when you take a shot, because it gives the photos that weak shake look that's really hard to work with. :)

Your photo of the beach is magnificent. I love dramatic skies over bodies of water, so if there's a way to win my appreciation, it's through photos like these. :)

I'm not too much a fan of food photos, so, no critique for this without sounding harsh. :P

I'm a bit torn on your last beach photo. I like it, and I think the lines criss crossing to wonderful things for the photo's composition, but I'm not too sure if the dullness of it and the dead space to the right are actually working here. Nonetheless, it's peaceful and a larger part of me enjoys it.

I think you have potential with the camera. Try to look for new ways of looking at things as you photograph them, dear. Distinguish your photos from snapshots by giving them a new sort of interest, play with the focus and settings, and feel free to edit them for contrast and color. Nicely done, Dani, I'd love to see more if you post more. :)

Your a really talented photographer! Awesome job!

1- really good, the black and white is always very classy, and hard to do wrong with that. I like the mess of hair, it's more natural then other people's photos wen everything looks glued in place.

2- Alright. . probably not my favourite though. The bangs at the top our a bit too messed up and that kind of distracts from the picture. Also, your eyes look kind of bored which kind of makes the feel of the photo boring. Nice touch with the red lipstick though!

3- Cute, though I thought it was weird cause my name's Danielle and it said Danielle. . . haha anyway i really hate it when people picnic their photos or put stars in hearts, honestly it looks cheesy It would look so much classer and professional if you left it black and white.

4- Really cute! It reminded me of one of those Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches! tehe I love those. anyways i do like it I agree with a previous comment however, there is a lot of pink blanket maybe if you took it from a slightly different angle it would be better.

5- This is good, I really like the close up. Once again black and White gives it the classy feel. I think it's kind of cool how you can't see the eyes of the cat, it's very magical and mysterious!

6- This is my second favourite out of all of these. you captured the peak of the sunset so perfectly. and I just love those lamp posts! they are so vintage and amazing! Great photo!

7- FAVOURITE PICTURE! I love the overcast skies- they are my favourite skies out of all the skies ever. and the ocean is just so beautiful and calm. Also I love the contrast of grey, blue, and black. it's just so scary and thrilling at the same time.

8- One word- YUM.

9- Really pretty I love the texture, and the contrast between human creations and the natural creations. The green fencing kind of shows humankind's imprint on nature. It just looks so naturally taken I love it.

Overall AWESOME JOB!

Love,
