Gryphons have always been my one of my favorite mythological creatures (and "gryphon" is my favorite spelling). My second attempt to write a novel involved a pair of gryphons: a gold one named Aurora and a silver one named Martel. Martel was always my favorite of the two.

Way back when I joined Fictionpress.com, I was GryphonFledglingOfSilverWings, but that takes forever to type for people who don't type it every three seconds (like I seemed to do). On Writing.com I was SilverGryphon and when I finally found YWS, I became GryphonFledgling (had a long period of time where I was constantly mistaken for Grif too...).
I am reminded of the babe by you.

My yahoo account and my love of RPGing in fantasy settings, I couldn't sadly do my full name on here which in yahoo answers is, TheLastPaladinofScotland. I love Paladins in fantasy and what they stand for, being noble and honourable souls, I know there was never Paladins in Scotland, but I see myself as a contemporary one.
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

Well. Thegirlwholived. First of all, that's just half of it, that I love Harry Potter. But when I was younger, about four, I was in a car accident with my brother driving. He was killed, but I managed to get out with a few broken ribs and a fractured ankle.

And of course, Matt's leaning over my shoulder saying "You never told ME that!"

Well, yes, my darling, but that's because you never asked ;)

My favorite poem of all time is "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg. I like Howl, so I'm a Howler. Simple as that.

They will always see that in my eyes
I am the passion, I am the warfare
I will never stop
Always constant,
Accurate,
Intense"

I'm the second-best ninja in our group of friends, and the first-best ninja (who happens to be one of my best friends) always called me Cookie Monster because of, well.... you can guess. Partially because he's my favorite, and partially because I act like him sometimes.

So, ninjacookiemonster.
hey, Jude, don't make it bad
take a sad song and make it better
remember to let it into your heart
then you can start
to make it better.

Well, I was born on July fifth. So naturally, my mom named me Star. She always called me Lucky, though, because bad things never happened to me. Recently I found an anime show called Lucky Star, which I LOVE! The main character, Konata, you can see in my profile picture. She reminds me of me, and online gamer and a primetime-anime-watcher :)

Um, well I wrote a rap in 8th grade describing Bilbo's adventure in the Hobbit and I thought it was pretty gangster. Thus the hobbit gangster.

Not very interesting, how I got this username. I was joining FicitonCentral in 05 and needed a name, and so Scarlett Fire was born... I've used it ever since. Or Kate Angell, but that's less used. >.>

When I was about 11, my class was reading a book with a character called Lottie, so as my name is Charlotte, they all called me that. My best friend then came out with 'Swottielottie' and it just stuck. I don't like it at all, so why I use it is a complete mystery.

My Auntie has a beautiful fat dog named Durrie. When I was writing my book, I had to write it at her place because we didn't have a computer and she did. When I got bored, I went online and looked for virtual pet sites. I was nine, so be fair :) Durrie was sitting next to me and we always called him Durrie Dog. So, I called myself that, and now I'm more Durriedog than he is :D Ruff!

For some reason, people say that I look quite cold when they first met me. They usually say that I looked really aloof and indifferent to my surroundings, and held my head high when I introduced myself to the others. The popular girls in my class didn't like me very much --- mainly because I wouldn't gossip with them --- and started calling me "the little princess that wouldn't stoop to their level". :o
My friends found that tremendously funny, and they started to call me the "ice princess", from the Disney movie. (I loved that movie very much!!! )
Pretty soon, the name stuck, and so I started calling myself that. :D
you'll never find another sweet little girl with sequined sea foam eyes
ocean lapping voice, smile coy as the brightest quiet span of sky
and you're all alone again tonight; not again, not again, not again.
and don't it feel alright, and don't it feel so nice? lovely.

I wonder if people felt the freedom in our culture to love louder, if they'd be quicker to say "I miss you" when the absence of someone is felt instead of just thinking it.
