Hey There!

Hi, the name's Horseradish! (not really--but hey, I had to think of something.) I'm quite random and my writing seems to scare a lot of people (and I by THAT, I mean that when some of my friends read my work, they cry--SERIOUSLY. It's not even that sad! They're a bunch 'a wimps, hopefully you all aren't.) I've been writing for awhile, probably since.... I was five or something, when I composed this terrible poem about what I'd do if I had million dollars (and I swear to Jesus, you do NOT want to read that poem. Ever.) and then it flipped to short stories... Which began with a spectacular ditty about a swamp monster killing like twenty people up on Lake Eerie (SEE: told you. The scariness. I wrote that when I was seven, and my parents found it humorous [they are even MORE insane than I am, really.]) Then, I wrote just random stuff no one should really ever care about, until I got to eighth grade, where I got deluged in this writing club called "Power of the Pen". Nearly went to State in writing competitions--and that was back when I sucked at writing--ha ha. Frightened everyone there too, especially when I wrote a new twist on Sweeney Todd (evilness, I know). Then, gradually, I sank into a state of perpetual darkness...and my writing suddenly got better! Wow! The craziness of that. So, yeah, I'm really kooky and I'm not quite sure of my mental stability (my main man friend suggests that I'm either bipolar or schizophrenic--but who really knows. I was probably just dropped too many times on my head when I was a kid.) But, whatever. I've got like a HUGE shack full of poetry, a small portfolio of short stories, and I've completed two novels so far in my sixteen years. Whoop. Be proud of me strangers--I've completed things. Take me for what I am: a writer, a lover (not, ha ha), and a born crazy.

Ja, cute username! And OMG! You have written a lot. (I end up finishing stuff in my head; too lazy to write them down. And then came Word!) Well, keep writing! I's love to read some of your stuff here on YWS.

Hello there!

I have to agree with Lava, a good username it is! Anyways, I'm really jealous of you since you've written things when you were still four and I began to write short stories when I was thirteen. Yep, am too old. haha. I think YWS can be your 'second' good school. I'm saying this because it teaches me to become better at improving my literary skills. I'm a century late to say this but congratulations for all the competitions you've won. I'm glad you found this site and I'm happy too if we'll be good friends. I'm assuming, alright. Whatever. I would just like to say that you'll find this a- not-so-ordinary site where you can just simply publish things like that. No, imagine a big building with a YWS name on it.

Also I have two tips for you:

1. If you don't review stories/poem or anything, you won't get reviews!
2. Enjoy!

Also, I would recommend that you visit the uh-mazing Chatroom, just found in YWS homepage. You can meet and greet or even gain new friends there.

Wow, you've done a lot! Keep it up! Who cares if you're crazy, we're all a little crazy around here. ^.^ I'm sure you will find many people here that will share your interest in writing scary things. And a lake monster in Lake Erie? Neat. There probably could be some sort of mutated creature up there, haha.

What I'm wondering is how you make Sweeney Todd any more gruesome than it is...?

BUT Either way, I love gruesome things! So, in turn, I love you! And welcome to the forums of course. I have used up my allotted amount of exclamation points. Pity.

Yeah, we're all a bit crazy here, but we have a great excuse, our common ground is that we are writers. Woo-hoo, dudes! XD. It sounds like you've been writing a lot, and that's great. Practice makes perfect, cliche as it sounds.
