Good book/Series or not?

I'm thinking on reading 'Vampire Academy' by Richelle Mead. Is this a good book/Series or not?

I LOVE the Vampire Academy books!! They are way better than Twilight, and more mature. They deal with issues that I find I relate to, a lot. The characters are really well developed as well. You'll love the books if you like the whole vampire thing, as well as vampire romance. It brings a whole new world to life, and Richelle Mead is a brilliant writer! (She's brilliant in person as well!!) Definitely read the books! There's Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise, Spirit Bound (the latest one) and Last Sacrifice (to be released). READ THEM!!

Ok I think I am, Now to get to a book store. I'm not going to a library to get them, I HAVE to own them
I read the Excerpt, and found that it isn't enough. I need more of it!

I was kind of wondering the same thing. I found the first four at a garage sale a few weeks back and bought them. (Four hard cover books for a dollar and seventy-five cents. Would you have passed it up?) But they're still sitting on my shelf. I should get around to reading them, shouldn't I.
