I'm A Dangerous Driver

Ten and Two
My hands on the steering wheel
The world blurs by
At ninety miles per hour
Oh, and it's raining out
Windshield wipers
Swishing away the rain
Frantic strokes--
Just focus on the road,
Nothing else matters
When I drive
I'm invincible,
Nothing in the world can stop
Me.

Aww, Beff is sixteen and must have just gotten her license, am I right? Or at least close. Because that was exactly how I felt when I got mine last year. Well, aside from the ninety miles an hour part…my car’s speedometer only reads up to 85. *cringes*

I only had one tiny nitpick.

At ninety miles per hour

I don’t know what it is about ‘per’ but it sounds funny when I read this. Maybe it’s just because I’m used to saying ‘an.’

Otherwise, the basic, simple, enthusiastic imagery here is lovely and very enjoyable to read.

Congrats on writing a lovely poem!

Never forget who you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.

Hey Beff! :D

Windsheild wipers <-- Typo! Should be "Windshield."

Just focuse on the raod, <-- Typos! Should be "focus" and "road."

And! Because I'm an annoying person, I want to remind you that speeding tickets are expensive and lives are precious. BE CAREFUL. :o

Hey, thanks for the input guys :) Actually Lily (can I call you that?), I've had my license for about a year... I just love driving, especially if I'm listening to rockin' music :D And Snoink, I'll be sure to fix those typos! Also about the speeding tickets... hehe, I NEVER get my speed up unless I'm on the interstate and I live in a pretty rural area, so there's not a whole load of traffic or anything :)
THanks again for reading!
