Blood Lust

Vampires aren't so much like humans have imagined up. They don't burn or glitter in the sun. They can walk freely without any side affects. They don't have super tough skin, but skin just like any humans. As for super fast speed? They do have that down. Every vampire group anywhere has a vampire queen, determined to destroy all the vampires. But as for all of that? No, just one vampire queen. A human girl, merely 17 years old.

Sabrina Anne Baker. She has no clue she is the reason for the blood lust on the large, rural island. A pretty little thing she is, and alone, no family, no boyfriends, no cousins, distant relatives to take her away from all the fighting until René Valdez(René translates to reborn in French)steps in to save the poor little thing. She falls in love with him, but wishes he would take her away from all the vampires instead of strait into them.

Plot

You have been asleep for years, and you wake up to this new world, ruled by humans. The first thing you crave? Sabrina? You and your mate seek her blood, for you hear that it will give endless strength to whomever has it in their body.

But getting to her isn't all that easy. It wasn't only René that pledged his life to protect Sabrina, many other vampires have sworn their lives to her. Now, not only does she have to squeeze boys into her busy high school life, she also has to make sure a couple thousand blood thirsty vampires don't get to her before the 5Th full moon.

The ceremony of the vampires it is called. The young queen must go into the cave with her lover and mate, and pledge her life, blood, and heart to him. Yes, the heart. The real heart. He places it in a box, which stays hidden deep in the cave labyrinth. As long as they are together, the heart will beat. As soon as her mate dies, then the heart will stop beating, and whoever desires her, will seek the box in the dark labyrinth. But beware, they aren't the only ones looking for it.



To make all odds fair, I will play the part of Sabrina sense I started the SB. If no one claims René, then I shall play him as well! I have something planned for him anyway!

None of the vampires hate the queen. They thirst for her blood. The blood that would give them endless strength. They want it so they can kill some of the humans that have taken over, so they can expand their growing empire! But a few of the vampires have pledged their lives to protect the queen at all costs. Body guards if you may. Those vampires are on the queen's side. Did that clear it up some?

Personality: Heard the saying it's the quiet ones you have to watch out for? That saying was created because of Amelia. Once a shy and quiet girl, Amelia's life changed when she was bitten by another vampyre. Now she's bitter and angry. Oh, and deadly. A couple hundred years, and Amelia's learnt everything there is to know about being a vampire. Seduction is an art form for Amelia, one that she's created.

History: Amelia du Coudray was born to wealthy parents. Her father was French, her mother English. She was raised in Versailles during the Sun King's reign, but when her father died was taken to England by her mother, aged seventeen. Life was different in England, harsher, bleaker. Amelia was pressured to conform to society, especially when her mother arranged her marriage to the Duke de Comte, who would push the du Coudrays up the social ladder. However, the Duke had a terrible secret, one that was discovered by Amelia. He was a vampyre, a creature of the night. Upon discovering that she knew, the Duke turned Amelia into a child of the night. Amelia, disgusted by what she had become, knew her only hope was to flee. The Duke took her as far as Venice, in Italy, where a coven of vampyres co-existed in the human world, guided under Signora della Francesca, the city's Patron of the Arts. Here Amelia is taught about the power she now has, and how to use it. Eventually, Signora della Francesca steps down as leader of the coven, and Amelia takes her place. Amelia rules as leader of the Venitian vampyres for hundreds of years, when she learns of the Vampyre Queen, Sabrina, who is in need of protection. And when Rene Valdez comes and asks for Amelia to swear her allegiance to the Vampire Queen, she does so immediately.

I'll be Rene if you're okay with that. I know that you had something planned for him and all so maybe you could just tell me what it is? And is he a vampire?

I'd like it if someone would take his position, but I only have bits of his character in my head. Sorry. If I could just take the time and figure out who exactly I want him to be, I'd let you, but, as the story progresses, the character reveals himself and who exactly he is.
