First of all, I just noticed your new, so welcome to YWS!
Another cliffy! Goodness, first I thought it was some vampire story but now your giving hints that they're in some sort of center or something, so I'm delightfully confused. The characters names (Rachel, Isabel, Dr. Fields) give a clue that it's in recent times. You said in the begining that Rachel couldn't get fat off the ice cream. Do you mean she won't gain weight no matter what or she has a high metabolism and won't get fat? I didn't understand this:
I felt no pain from her, which was strange. In my experience, pain medicine doesn’t work that well.
Huh? Maybe tell us a bit more about this. I'm thinking that she has powers to tell what other people are feeling or something? *Confuzzled*
The only other nitpick I saw was:
“What voice? You have never mentioned a voice before.” Dr. fields said.
Fields should be capitialized.
Rachel seems either 15-25ish. You should have given us more of a clue by now. PM me with the next part when it's up
