Another scanned picture (I'm so crazy happy that the scanner works - I had a scanning fest yesterday :smt003 )

I think at some point there was a backstory to these, and male counterparts, but I've forgotten most of it. So it's just a pic of some pretty angry-looking women. Mostly it was an attempt at different ethnicities, so if you could tell me how that went? (intended to be four (five? debatable...) different ethnicities!)

Hello Kidashka!
I just want say that these are AWESOME!!!!
My favorites are Jaguar and Lynx! You did a wonderful job!
One thing that caught my eye was Tiger's arm and the bottom half of her(if that makes any sense). Her arm that's on her knee looks like a different arm.
I don't know how to explain it, but her hip and leg look weird.
I can tell it took a long time!

Kidashka! Glad that your scanner is working! This picture looks wonderful.

Oookaayy, let me guess the ethnicities. I might be very, very wrong, so...

Tiger- British? Ish? Love her hair. Lol, she looks deranged. Gah! She scares me. I think you nailed her proportions. Her thighs & legs are just about perfect.

Puma- Asian? Japanese? Hm, yes, this one is probably the worst, but not bad at all. I don't like how her hair seems to come to a sharp point. I wish you could make her eyes a teensy bit bigger (which is more realistic) so she can show more expression, even if she is Asian. Her face shows no expression really at all, unlike the others. And her face is the least feminine.

Panther- African American? If she is, make her lips a bit bigger, so we can tell the difference between Lynx and her. Good job; she's my fav!

Jaguar- Swedish? Scandinavian? Her hair is very pretty, too. I'm glad you put her in the middle, because, with her light hair, she wouldn't stand out in the picture as much as the others.

Lynx- Indian? Her hair she be more flat and straight. Love her position.

Overall:

Awesome job! Drawing a bunch of ethnicities together is a great idea; none of them looked really alike, which is quite an accomplishment. I love the background, and positions, and how no heads get lost in the picture, because of the dynamic range you used in your shading.

Hope I helped! (And I hope I got the ethnicities right.)

Hello there, Kidashka!

I have to say I like this drawing. You did great on the shading and this is all much better than I could have done, haha. I think the porportians could be improved along with some of their faces, but otherwise you did pretty good. =D

Keep up the great work.

I absolutely love these Kid! They're brilliantly drawn and well, I am superly jealous right now.

 Tiger: She is my favourite of all the women drawn. I think the shading used upon her was well done, excellently highlighting her features. The one thing that I found was her nostrils. They seem a little out there and not actually with the picture. I would suggest you bring both of them back towards her nose; this will make it look a lot more life like.

 Puma:Her neck is a little out of order. One part is obscured towards the other and really brings down the impact of the emotion you were trying to create. Her facial features are small and I really like that. It makes her look intimidating and mad. Her necklace looks a little cliche, I think you can easily place more detail into it.

 Panther and Jaguar: These two look the most intimidating. I really like the way you worked on their features and made it sort of like a scowl. What I would recommend though is that you work again, on their nostrils. One the first girl it suits her more, but on the one a little in the back it makes her look more square then anything else. I really like the first one which I think is Panther. She's feisty. :)

 Lynx: Thighs and Dagger. Those are the only two things that I can really find that bring down this picture. One of the thighs is smaller then the other and the dagger is just cliche and looks like a useless add on. Everything else is perfect.

Overall: This is a great picture and I absolutely love looking at it. The women and the scenery look as if they took forever. :D Great job Kidd.
I spy!

Thank you all for the reviews!! :smt050

@Kaedee - you got most right (Lynx and Panther were the main ones and those were correct :)) but Puma was supposed to be Native American... not sure how that worked out... Jaguar and Tiger were just caucasian, but the way you broke it down was how I'd thought :smt003

Thankyou to everyone for tips on improvement :elephant:

These are really great- you have a nice style... just enough lines to hint, but not to over exaggerate. And I adore your shading. :)
Great proportions, great detail- I'm hopeless when it comes to people in action, or multiple or figures, or... pretty much anything sensible in drawing. :)
Very well done here.

If you ever remember the backstory, let me know. I'm curious. :)

Hey kid,
I've got to say your title really spiked my intrest but when I opened it, I have to say I was a little disapointed. All I can really say is: keep practicing.
