Some sketches I did today. >> All of them I used pictures I looked up to reference from.

Probably my least favourite, and it only took a few minutes <.<
Image

I had more fun with this woman's dress than anything else.

This one was a suggestion from a friend. Yes, he plays too much video games and such. =P Something about this one irritates me, but I can't figure out what it is @_@
Image

And this is my favourite, and probably took the longest to draw. =D

Again, I had to take pictures with my webcam, so it's a little grainy. =O
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Hello there
I just love these. Your webcam created a classical look in a weird kind of way. I actually thought they were paintings you saw somewhere, but I'm strange that way so... :D My favourite is the last one; it is a beautiful drawing.
Keep up the good work, I can see drawing is your thing.

Hello hello Nutty!

Let's get straight into the comments:

#1. Well, yes, you could spend more time with it. And you could work on the face.
#2. Good work with the dress. Her right leg (the left leg while we look at it) is a little odd.
#3. Okay, there's something about the legs, that bothers me. It needs a little work. Also; I think she's holding a long piece of wood in her right arm. Well, the way she's holding it looks odd. Maybe make her hold it somewhere in the middle of the wood.
#4. Now, this really shows your talent and potential. Great job. :) My only comment is that her nose should be nudged to the left a tad bit.

Keep drawing. And take your time doing it. :)

All of these drawings are pretty good, (better than I've ever done), and the graininess doesn't bother me much. Overall, I think the best parts of all of them are the dresses and the hair. Just my humble opinion, take it or leave it.

Hey Nutty! These are all pretty good. At least compared to my artwork. Hah.

Anyways, I only have a few small comments.

#1 Her dress looks off with her body. Like she needs to pull it to the left or something. It should be more in line with her shoulder blades and the center of her back, unless it's supposed to be that way.

Also, on the first two drawings. Their faces look a tad...masculine. They don't look like men, of course, but it seems the contour of their faces could be adjusted so they look a bit more feminine.

The fourth drawing is certainly the best! I love it, it shows how great you are at drawing. Keep up drawing like this one!

Hey Nutty, KD's back to review!

Woman Number One (haha, that sounds funny, doesn't it?): This isn't bad! But it's not my favorite. Work on her nose. Make her hands bigger; they're not proportional to her face. Maybe add some smoother lines. Maybe if you put more work onto her face, this would be better. But I don't know if you're trying to focus on faces, but rather on their bodies.

Woman Number Two: Again, smoother and stronger lines would help. The face is strange again; if you're just working on the bodies, maybe leave these girls faceless? If you really care about the face, make stronger and more confident lines for her facial features, since the face distracts me from the rest of her, and fix her mouth. As Lauren pointed out, all your faces look very masculine, which is a big chunk of the problem. Her hair seems unnaturally stiff.

Woman Number Three: I think this one is the best! It's the most realistic. You did a good job with her large hips, and how her upper torso is twisted towards us and how the rest of her body really isn't. You did a good job with her face, but I guess that's easy since it's mostly covered up. This girl wins the best eye award, and has the best position. Work on the darker sword; as Lava said, it looks like a big chunk of unevenly cut wood.

Woman Number Four: I like the shading and shadows going on in here. She wins the best hair award out of all of the other ladies, and has the best outfit/you drew her outfit the best. Her face, though, needs stronger/more confident lines. Her neck is waaayyyy too thick. I think I would still make her hair part thinner, since I feel as if she's going bald up there (like my mom, lol). Her hanging arm on the right is a bit too chunky.

Hope I helped! Keep up the good work, and work on feminine faces! Hehe.

Hey, Cheyanne! =D

Okay, these are all pretty good, much better than anything I could do. xD

The First One: She looks nice except her face seems a little odd and her jaw a bit too big and blockish. She shoulders also seem a bit too broad compared to the rest of her body.

The Second One: She is also nice, but something about her face seems to irk me. Maybe her head size? I'm not sure. I love her dress though. :)

The Third One: Haha, definitively a video game character. You did pretty good on her, except her head sort of looks like it is floating, because you can't really see a neck. (Which sort of makes sense though, 'cause of her hair and such in the way)

The Fourth One: I have to agree with you on that one, she is definitively my favorite. I think out of all of them she has the best shading, hair, facial expression and you also did great with details like the wrinkles in her clothing. Lovely job. :)

Awesome job, Chey, keep it up. :)

Oh My Gilgamesh, it’s Nutty! *screams*

So, the first one, does really seem rather…well…blah. Her head and her hands both seem to be disproportionally smaller than the rest of her body. I think a little extra detail in the dress would have been nice too. She also seems very mad.

Actually, the second girl seems really angry too. The dress and the body look lovely, although her left arm seems very stick-like. But her face is smudgy and aggressive, which is really depressing. :(

The third picture kind of made me giggle for some reason, probably because once I saw it, I couldn’t stop thinking about ninjas. Teehee. But there are a lot of things that would really improve this picture I think. The first thing has to do with the mask on her face. It seems very painted on her face while her hair is just sort of sticking out from underneath it, rather stick-like. Also, her thighs both seem very thick in proportion to the rest of her. But the detail in the sword that’s in her left hand is actually really nice, though the other sword looks a little messy and maybe not as clean.

Number four is definitely my favorite. The body shape is great and the pose is awesome. The only real problem I have at all with is that her chin is really pointy. Like, you could put an eye out with that thing. :P

Overall, these show some real talent. Good job, Nutter Butters!
