Wow, well done! This is a photo I can imagine horse lovers all over the world taking and sticking on their wall. I think that perhaps you could have shot it with a bit more of the horse showing, so taking a step back. Other than that, I've got nothing! Keep snapping!

P.S. I haven't seen you around before... it's nice to! Welcome and nice to meet you!

Aww, cute! =] I have to agree with Durrie's opinion on this one. Maybe stepping back and showing more of the horse would be nice. I also think maybe change the angle. For the angle, maybe be down a bit lower and closer to that of the horse's level? It might also be nice to think of what time of day to do it due to how the shadow will be.
Anyways though, very cute! Good luck and keep it up.

Hmmmmm I agree with the people above. I also think it isn't really well ... original. Lots of people could take this picture if they had a horse. You need a slant, an angle. Something that will POP. I am not saying that like the photo, I love it, but it might not be a contest winner.
thanks for the advise. I don't think I will be able to take another picture of him like that though. But if I get the chance again i will try to get at a better angle

Durrie is right. Horse lovers all over the world would fawn over this picture like crazy.
The way you captured the light on the tips of the horse's fur/hair is absolutely divine! I'm guessing this was either taken early morning or late afternoon, am I right? Either way, it's a lovely photo.
Oh, maybe you could have stepped back a bit to get the full frame of the horse in, or at least make it a bit straighter angle. This sort of hurt my head. o.O
Still, nice job. Is this your horse? -Mizz-
