Hello all!

My name is Lacey, though I can’t say that it’s who I am because I’m known by so many different name. This is a fun way of saying that you can call me whatever you want because I answer to anything, as my friends can attest to when they call me Camel…which is a very strange story.

I’ve written since kindergarten, though I’ve only recently (six years) written anything with a passion. I love all writing, but I absolutely adore fantasy and creative nonfiction. Of course, I love anything that feels real because it’s just…there…if that makes any sort of sense.

You can ask me anything and I will most likely answer because I’ve played Quelf and once you really play Quelf, you’re pride is nonexistent.

I have absolutely no idea how to end something like this so here is goes…

Fin. Maybe.

Suzanne, I must answer your question first as it seems it is the most dire. (I need to stop pretending to be dramatic)

Quelf is the most amazing game in the entire world. I'll quote the object of the game:

Spoiler
"TO HAVE FUN! DUH!

Whe else would you play a board game? Okay, for those of you who require a little more 'structure', here ya go: Your goal is to get to the last space on the board (the one with the rocket ship on it). You'll be rolling die, reading some cards, and generally acting outrageously foolish on your way there. Better Buckle your seatbelt, it's gonna be a bumpy ride."

It also has one giant, invisible harpoon. Though the box suggested it, I did not use it wisely.

I read just about everything, which doesn't help my case. My favorite is fantasy, though, and next is realistic fiction. Basically, though, if something catches my eye, it is going to be read.

As for you, yuriiko (I love my new nickname, by the way), my favorite has got to be anything different and interesting. My favorites list includes wearing cat ears to school, barefoot midnight walks, being barefoot, Quelf, my crazy friends, and anything having to do with Jesus.

My favorite author is C.S. Lewis. My library has decided to give me a heart attack because it only has the Chronicles of Narnia and nothing as awesome as Mere Christianity, the Screwtape Letters, and other wonderful things by Jack (that's what I call him because it was what he wanted to be called). I need to stop now before I rant.

My favorite writing genre is fantasy. I love creating my own worlds, rules, species, and anything that I deem awesome. You can do so much with it as awesome people have shown.

I think I typed too much. :smt003

I hope I helped, and I demand that anyone who reads this play Quelf (please?)so we can all be prideless together!

Hi Camel! Welcome to YWS!

I'm Freyja, and I've never played Quelf, but I'm sort of the same with not being ashamed to say whatever.

So, I want to hear this story about why they call you Camel.

Anyway, we're all awesome here, so if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!

Hope you have fun here!

I'd love to see your creative non-fiction. You should definitely head to the Non-fiction forums.

Hey!

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome! Welcome, Welcome, Welllllll!! Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah. I have no idea where that came from. I think it's from Spongebob, but hey, who knows? So I really wanna play Quelf now. It seems awesome. I think I'll go on Ebay and buy it. Anywho, Welcome to YWS! I shall now call you Cammie :). So there are so many fun things to do here. You should check out the Storybooks, that's pretty much a bunch of writers, writing as characters they created in a story. Yeah, I'm not to good with the whole explaining thing. You get points when you review. There are contests and groups and soooooo many things to do! I'm basically the YWS Hobo, I know so much about it but I can't explain for my life, plus I'm almost always on.

Yeah, this wasn't very helpful. I probably just scared you. Sorry if I scared you. :D PM me if you have questions or want to talk about Quelf.

This is why I need to fix the internet at my house. You people are too awesome for my own good.

I guess I must tell you the story. It doesn't actually make any sense to any of us people that decided that I am a camel, it just happened.

Once upon a time there was a lunch table. At this lunch table there were a bunch of people that stole each other's food because they were friends and they could do that. One day, Lacey decided to steal a pretzel stick from her friend. She was stopped when the bag of said food was taken away. Lacey begged, annoying every at and around the table. Her friend then took one out, looked at Lacey and said, "Feed the camel!" and fed the pretzel stick to Lacey.

The end.

To this day she has no idea where the camel thing came from.

I feel so welcome thanks to you guys, by the way.
