This is great! I can see you put in alot of time into it because of all the intricate details. This is beautfully done and actually looks like it was from Eragon. I would love to see it colored and I espehcially love the eyes. This is great and I hope to see more from you!
Ciao!

Great job you've done there, especially on the detail of the scales - I can only imagine how much time you spent on them, but it was worth it. A couple of nitpicks: the neck seems to be stretching out a little too much down, with no sign of connecting to shoulders or anything - which I can understand, especially as the original doesn't have them either, but seems to me like you've gone a little too far down; by the bottom of the drawing the neck seems very fragile and unlikely to support the head as it is. Also, and this might be just me, but her left nostril seems a bit too far up for the angle it's supposed to be at. Still, really nice work you've got there. Keep it up!

Jagged: I don't think the neck is stretched to much. I don't know if you ever saw the movie or not, but here's a picture. Saphira has a long neck. I was almost done with it when my mom asked me to something, when I came back it was all done. Well turns out that my sister had finished it.
Glad you like it.

Haven't seen the movie, I'm afraid. I usually steer clear of movies-of-the-book. I know one of my friends came back from it frothing at the mouth, so I don't regret it so much
But to come back to the neck: yeah, I see that the cover art has the same thing. I don't know, it still strikes me as weird: there's a feeling of imbalance there.
But I guess that's just me, so I'll shut up now and carry on. Again, it was a really nice job.

Wow Junglelover, this is an amazing drawing. You are such a talented artist, I can't draw for toffee but I'd love to be able to draw even half as good as you.

Jadded: Lol. First I watched the movie, then I read part of the book. I don't like how I made the neck so wide by the head.
midnight: Thank you for the comment, but I am afraid that I'm not as good as you think.

This is really well done... I would consider curving the neck to make it seem more of a natural position, as well as add in some shading to give it depth. Perhaps the eyes could be a bit more detailed as well..
Overall, this was a great drawing.. scales are really difficult to draw, and you pulled it off quite well. Nice job!
