DOMINIQUE

he was right, i was worried about the others, but right now i really needed to bathe.
"he's right, I'm going to bathe in the creek, if i see them ill send them this way." Before anyone could say anything i got up and went into the shelter. I dug through my bag, not many clean clothes left, I'd ask the others later and bring all our clothes down to the creek and wash them.

I found a yellow tank top and a pair of light brown shorts, this would do. I quickly ran to the creek, i really wanted to be alone. My leg still hurt but it had closed and scarred over. when i got there i threw my clothes over to the side and got undressed. I hadn't realised how cold it had gotten out. I jumped in, the water was warmer then the air.

"Guys..." said Tarrion.

Oh man, he used that tone, now I was curious. "What?" I asked.

"There were two other with us I think...a boy and a girl. Where are they?" He said, sounding concerned. "They were in our plane... I have no clue where they got to or how they managed to disapear, but we have to find them again. You know, make sure they're alright."

"He's right, I'm going to bathe in the creek, if I see them I'll send them this way." said Domi, walking into the trees.

"Well, I wasn't in your plane, and when I got here there was only us, then Dimiri, and that guy Oliver. I never met anyone else." I said.

"And AnnieMay!" piped Wren.

"Oh yes, and her! But what happened to the others?" I asked.

Tarrion looked serious, "I don't know but I think we should find them."

I listened as they talked about the people who were missing. Someone mentioned me, and I sunk deeper into the forest. I didn't think I'd be missed. I climbed to the top of the tree, and began moving through the trees, getting away from them. I shouldn't be missed. I didn't want to be missed. I just wanted my sister, where ever she was.

TARRION

I watched Domi uneasily as she left. What if the beast came back? Or I suppose it would be a different beast...or what about one of those massive wolves? Stop it! She'll be fine! I scolded myself. I stole a glance at Dimitri. He seemed to be soaking up the attention rather well.

"What's wrong Tar?" Wren asked.

I shook my head. "Nothing. I just don't want one of those things to get Domi is all." I pushed myself to my feet and limped back to my guitar, shooing Shalo off of it. My leg had really been bugging me the past few days. I picked up my guitar and limped back to the others. I needed to get my mind on something worth while.

"You never did say what was wrong with your leg Tar," Gemma stated absently.

I sighed and sat down. "Just an injury I got when I was a kid. Nothing serious." I started to strum, willing the whole world to fade away. Ah, how nice that would be...

Dimitri

I walked away from the came fire. I had been getting to much attention. Some one else needed to get some of that attention. I walked off towards the stream to bathe. I did not know Domi was bathing.

I walked on and on until I reached the stream. I was shocked to see Domi bathing there. I scattered off back into the woods, without making a noise. I thought that I would walk back in, pretending I had not seen her. I dove into the stream a ways down. Not knowing I had jumped in, Domi contuniued to bathe in peace. I swawm towards her. Slowly and carefully. Then I dove even lower, tickling her leg. She sqealed, then screached very loudly. I swam away, not looking back. She looked very alarmed, maybe it was not the smartest of my ideas.

I heard Domi scream and immediately stopped playing my guitar. "Stay here!" I demanded, shoving the thing out of my lap and rising to my feet. I half ran, half limped towards where I had thought I heard the scream. I got smacked in the face with a twig and I could feel the blood dripping from a scrape on my cheek. I ignored it.

"Domi! Where are you?!" I called out, panting. I could hear her breathing heavily. Only then did it occur to me that she was probably not wearing anything. Great. As if Domi wasn't freaked out by me enough, now she would probably think I was a perv. Then again, if I was saving her life... "I won't look! What happened!"

I moved a bush just enough to see if she was okay. I could only see the very top of her head. I quickly pushed the bush back into place, satisfied that she probably wasn't fataly injured. "Dom, do you need help? What happened?" I was growing concerned with her silence. What if she was hurt after all? I couldn't just waltz over to her...

GEMMA

We all heard Domi scream, everyone was quiet and Tarrion stopped playing his guitar. "Stay here!" he ordered. In an instant a million thoughts ran through my head. Was it another beast? Wolves? Something in the water? Where was Dimitri? Sure, he was slowly changing, but I still didn't fully trust the guy. From the look on their faces, everyone else seemed to have the same thoughts.

What would happen to Domi? I had grown to care about every person here, almost like family I couldn't bear to lose any of them. For the first time since our arrival on the island I though about my real family. I thought of my brother, Stephan. Was he still seeing that girl? Oh what's her name? Sara? I thought of my brother, Duncan, and wondered if he was still in school. I knew how much he hated it, and how he stayed in school for me. Did he quit now that I was gone? Finally, I thought of my father. Was his job still his whole life? Did he still think of mom now that I wasn't there to remind him? Did he miss me? Did anyone miss me? I felt a small tear rolling down my cheek. I quickly wiped it away, hoping no one had seen. I hated crying. "I-I'm going-g inside." I sputtered and hurried inside. No one seemed to notice.

Tar told us to stay behind, but since Domi was my best friend and Tar was... well, I wasn't quite sure what he was to me, I went anyway.

As I reached the lake, I saw Tar with his eyes closed. I could barely hold back a laugh as I walked out. Domi was still so deep in water, it wasn't like I could see anything- and we were both girls, anyway. "What happened?"

"That- that-" she sputtered.

"Dimitri saw you bathing?" I asked.

"Well, yeah!" she said, choking the words out.

I shook my head. "Perv. And I'm guessing he...?"

"He tickled my leg," she shrieked. She calmed down a bit. "He was trying to have fun, but if that's the way he has fun..." she shook her head. Obviously she wasn't fully comfortable with him yet. Wow, he just kept bringing his popularity with her up and up....

"He's... he was probably not being a perv just kind of..." I tried to figure out how to say it and failed.

DOMINIQUE

I have NEVER let a guy see me naked before. That wasn't fair, that was cruel and perverted. I think i would rather have another one of my ex boyfriends beat me then have that happen again. I wouldn't be this mad if it was a mistake, but, but he came right up to me! I didn't like the way he has fun.
"Tarrion, please go back to camp, i want to get out." He just took off. I knew he liked me but why did he care so much?

I saw him limping, what had happened? the limp had gotten worse! I couldn't bare to see other people hurt, me, me being hurt I'm used to. But it bothers me when other people are hurt. Wren turned around, so she couldn't see me and i jumped out. It was freezing up here! I quickly used my old clothes to dry off and slid on my clean ones.
"The creeks all yours but i wouldn't go in with Dimitri, where ever he went."

Where did he go, i was extremely mad at him. That was beyond mean, that was just creepy and demented!

I sat, perched on a rock by the river. I sighed, closing my eyes. I bet a nice dip would be good, but I'd rather not. At least not after what happened to Domi. Poor girl was frightened to death! The wind blew gently, blowing the hair out of my face. All in all, it felt good. I dipped my feet in the cool water. They were sore from running and climbing the trees. I sat there a while longer, letting the sun fall on my skin.

TARRION

I started back to camp, fists clenched and fuming. Just when I thought Dimitri might not be so bad after all... If I had a chance against him in a fight, I'd go creme him now. Of course we all knew that was impossible. I could always use my ability to dodge... Don't. You'll just get hurt. I told myself.

I opened the door to our cabin and stomped in, grabbed my guitar and sat down before I could change my mind about fighting. I hadn't even noticed Gemma was sitting in the corner with Shalo.

"What happened?" she asked, startling me.

"Gemma, seriously! You scared the crud outta me!" I would have laughed, but I was way too mad for that.

"Sorry..."

I shook my head. "No, don't be." I shook my head and strummed a few angry cords.

"What happened?" Gemma repeated.

I frowned and stared at the wall. "Dimitri happened," I hissed. At this rate Domi would never warm up to guys and she'd hate me more.

Gemma's eyes widened. "What did he do to her?"

My frown increased. "He tickled her leg while she was bathing. You know, without clothes on. If I could get away alive, I would beat the snot out of him." I shook my head and put down my guitar, holding out my hand for Shalo. She flew away from Gemma, landing on me gracefully. I ruffled her feathers and stared straight ahead. "I can not believe him..."

DOMINIQUE

I ran back to camp, tripping over something as i ran. I turned around to see a startled chicken flapping it's wings angrily. I picked it up and calmed it down. Hey, don't chickens lay eggs? I knew thousands of egg recipes! But we haven't eaten meat in days. What should we do? I would ask the others. I picked up my dirty clothes and continued walking to camp, the chicken had calmed down now. Poor thing didn't know what was in store for it.

Or what might not be in store for it. I didn't know yet. As soon as i saw the shelter I ran over and barged in.
"Look what I found!" Tarrion and gemma looked up and smiled. Tarrion looked extremely happy.
"A chicken!"
"What should we do with it? It might lay eggs." I asked looking at the chicken from all angles.

I grinned. "Well if it's female it'll lay eggs. Let me see it." I held out a hand to Domi, hoping she wouldn't take it the wrong way. She handed it to me and I examined it carefully. "One of my friends had chickens, I used to have to do this all the time. He was an immature one, always whining about how gross it was." I laughed and handed the chicken back to Domi. Gemma giggled.

"Well?" Domi prompted, obviously thrilled with herself.

I grinned. "It's female, so it'll lay eggs. Wild chickens are tricky because males and females looks so much the same." I felt like a mental-case. I was sitting here talking to a bunch of girls about chickens. Wow, I was quite the man.

"I'll go find Sahpire! She can help us make a cage!" Wren piped up. I hadn't even notice her enter. Of course I didn't want her to know that...

"That sounds good! Fried eggs in the morning... oh how nice that'll be." I grinned, nearly forgetting what happened between Dimitri and Domi.
