Both, I think. I got that the humans gave here something so that something else, dark and evil, could control her, thus giving them a new means of killing the winged ones. Right?

So, I don't think Caroline should be possessed all the time. Just like she has these "attacks" Because that way she could still be kinda in the story. Because other wise no one will really be able to talk to her or anything because she'd kill them. But that's just a suggestion.

Yuriko, maybe Caroline could get better, that way you wouldn't feel so left out. When we're flying you could attack one of us and we beat you and you fall and hit your head. When you wake up you're back to normal. Just an idea.
