My that trout was mighty tasty! Too bad it only cost me a reel and a cell phone! It was a bittersweet day for sure!

Remember kids, never lean over a bank, even IF the fish is longer than your forearm!

This is Tony- he's an adolescent Broad Winged hawk that has taken up residence in our back yard (we have a big forresty commons area behind my house.)

He stood guard at that position for almost 3 hours, and was quite the sentinal. Not a single squirrel dared to approach our deck while he was there. But, on the other hand, neither did any birds (we have bird feeders.)

Hopefully, he'll decide to stay. The field mouse and nest of rabbits (who always have offspring) in our back yard should be incentive enough. If not them, then the moles that tear up our yard will.

I like having a hawk around, them moles are never a problem when we have hawks.

So, yeah.


Why precisely I'm on the stairs, I can't remember, but there you are: that's me, doing what I do best.


Well, apart from that perhaps.


And maybe that as well.


As my friend said last time I saw him, "Robert, you're such a homeless person."

To which I had no choice but to agree.

And that's the end of my mighty whoring of the photo variety.
