Even if you're not a history buff, think of those who will be negated the oppertunity of future generations. This is very real. Gov. Patterson is wanting to close a number of historic parks and sites in order to raise money. I feel the notion is cheap, and to what expense? Fort Ontario in Oswego, New York, is one of many others in danger of be shut down permanately.

I had planned to make the five hour trip to visit someday. I, and future generations, hope we'll have the oppertunity.
