Hey Lava!

So the first and forth ones are definitely the best ones here, I thought I'd just say that before I go in depth about each photo :).

1) The sunlight on here is amazing, and I love the fact that whoever's riding it is barefoot, it makes it look really cool. The only thing is that those white patches (I assume tire patches) really distract me from the rest of the photo. Maybe if you edit it so that they're the color of the tire it would work better.

2) There are a million and one pictures of converse, and this one is pretty boring. Since you're photographing something else as the center piece, but want the shoes to really be what the photo's about, you need to make sure that whatever is not the shoes is interesting. A plant and log sort of thing is rather boring, like I said there's a million pictures of converse, you really need to make yours stand out.

3) Well the first one of these two is way better then the second, why you may ask? Because in that second one, in the lower left hand corner there's some type of palm tree or something that really distracts me from the rest of the picture. Because it's edges are so crisp, and since everything else is just flowing and loose, it really pulls my attention to the tree.

4) I LOVE this one. Best one of the bunch!

These are really good for being taken on a camera phone! You did a great job!

Hey!

So, one thing I wanted to say was WOW, you take very amazing pictures for a camera phone.

My favorite is the fourth one. It has very good quality and is very professional looking. (at least to me, I don't know, I don't know much about photography.)

I also really love the first one, and how the hand was grabbing for the pedal.

I think you did a very good job with these.

Hi Lava(too bad you changed your name) :smt085 . You need not be sorry for the bad quality of images as I found them clear. This was a good post, I must say.

In the Peek a Boo, I think the first image is good because in the second one the viewer gets distracted by the small tree standing out there in the bottom and also its doing little to make the picture prettier. So I would vote for the first one.

As Bond said, I loved the barefoot girl wearing the paayal. Who was it by the way?
And I loved the converse shoes one. It was so cool and definitely should be posted somewhere.

I also liked the background for the last picture-the grey rocks. But the thing is that the brown leaf was way too curled up; maybe straightening it a bit would've looked better. But its my personal opinion.
Let me know when you post more, please!

GOOD JOB. :smt023

Hi Lava (lamp)!
I really enjoyed these. I am a massive fan of photography myself, I just love it. I might start once I get a proper camera and sorry I'm getting carried away now :P

1. I really like the sunlight in this picture and how the person riding the bike is bare-foot. In some parts it looks too blurry but all in all really effective.

2.This is probably my least favourite one. Although I do like the composition and the plant (?) looks cool.

3. Aaaagh, I feel like I'm mimicking Bondgirl BUT I think the first one because on the second one there is a tree standing in the way. I also like the first one better as you can see more of the sun... And you know that Beatles song: Here Comes the Sun!

4. My Favourite! It looks so detailed and for a phone camera very good quality. And if you look very closely:

The rock looks like a shoe!

Overall:
I think these are really cool, and you should definately keep photographing? You seem like a natural!

An improvement that could be made is looking over your pictures and thinking: Would my audience enjoy this, or see it as dull?

Well Done from your one and only:
Tamara :) xx

p.s. there might be another Tamara on YWS but still :P

Hey Guys!

Thanks for the comments. :)
Shubhi, it was a random woman on the street.
Bond, yes I really need to practice Converse photography more. I'll keep trying.

Hey Lava! I love your photo's!! I think my favourite is number four and of the two I like the first one better, only because there's a small part of a tree in the second one :) Oh and Tam_ara, the rock really does look like a shoe :P

Hello, Lava.

1. This picture is my favorite one. This is really good considering you took it with your camera phone! The only thing bad about it were the tire patches. I wish there was some way you could edit those out.

2. I've seen lots of converse pictures but this one is pretty stale. There is not anything really going on except your shoes. This could be improved by making the shoes the focal point of the picture, but when I first looked at it I was drawn more to the leaves and log off to the side.

3. The first picture is better than the second because the little tree in the corner of the second is nothing but a very annoying distraction.

4. This picture is amazing! There is a lot of texture and detail considering your using your phone. I like the way the leaf is standing out against the rocks, and I love that we can actually see detail on the rocks. This was very good.

You seem to be a natural and, if you can do this with a phone, you would be even better with a real camera. Keep snapping those photos!
