Please can we think up some names for the tribes?

I agree!

Tribe a and Tribe b is a bit... well... not very creative

We could have something simple like Redwood, Zsa Zsa, Moonwater, Spirit, Eternal, Zainab...
They're crap, I know. But you get the idea?

Or we could go for something more tribal?

I was thinking maybe based off a native american word? Like, if they have different terrain, one could be Native American for mountain and one for forest.
Although I suspect they have the same kind of land around them...

I'm not sure how to make the two tribes interact more. Can me and Isha kidnap your character for trespassing?

So as a scientist what should I be doing? All the native people seem to be occupied in their own lives and it would be very odd for me to just drop in Kyle.

Okay...So actually I was going to post something about naming the tribes. I didn't want to name them myself, I wanted you guys to choose. Discuss it amoung yourselves and then I will change it on the main thread when we decide.

As a scientist...do whatever. Catch a glimse of a tribe member and follow them, set up... try to find a village... Be awesomely creative.

Okie dokie, I searched the interwebs to come up with some ideas... not super imaginative but heyhey. I thought we could call one sun tribe and the other moon tribe.
Then I discovered there are about a billion native american languages.
These ones are all mountain tribes.

Caddo:
Sun- Saku
Moon- Niish

Northern Paiute:
Sun- Taba
Moon- Muha

Quecha:
Sun- Intiq/Inti
Moon- Killa/Quilla

Tadaa. [There were many others, but the words were all like "Ko'komíki'somma" and my brain melted.]

I like the first and second ones best

Opinions or other ideas?
Also remember that the people in the tribes aren't all Native American either.

Yeah! Hahaha last I checked Alberta and the Rockies were CANADIAN!

I just googled it and inthe Canadian part of the Rocky Mountains there are two main tribes. The Peigan and the Blackfoot (Siksika) tribes. They speak variations of the Algonkian language family. Maybe we can find words in those laguages.
