Hallo

I'm new, I suppose obviously. My name comes from Brideshead Revisited, a novel I absolutely adore.

I write in a variety of styles, although I tend towards the dark side and fantastical. I've finished a few novels, none of them published, and I'm currently working on a Canterbury Tales-esque thing, in which the MC is dead and 21 people come together to tell 22 different stories to try to figure out what type of person he is. The dialogue is giving me a headache. I love editing, although I don't always have time, and I am a very hardcore debater. Debate and writing pretty much make up my life, but I'm not overly argumentative out of competition.

The shortening is Arcadia...it translates to Even in Arcadia, I exist.

My favorite authors differ by the day, although I've always loved Oscar Wilde. I have a little Oscar Wilde action figure...yeah, the obsession runs deep. Other than that, I read most everything. I'm reading Casino Royale and Neuromancer now.

And thanks so much, guys. I'll try to post up about one a week or so...I really need to start organizing.

Haha, thanks. I've managed to get a total of two things posted...I've got a bit of a block (called school, bleh), so I'm probably going to be reviewing more than sub,itting for now.
