Hi, Ikafe!

I like the photo in that it's bright and colourful and reminds me of summer. However, it's a little blurry and looks a bit like it was taken with a phone camera. And it's pretty obvious that the subject of the photo is the flower (a dandelion, by the way!), but still the focus seems to be on the grass behind it, rather than the actual flower.

Keep taking photos, but don't stick to just flowers. No matter how beautiful they are, they make boring picture subjects, if I may say so. I'm sure there are photographers that will make ordinary flowers look like masterpieces never seen before, but in the end, all flower pictures look the same. So don't be boring! Take pictures of everything and anything, and play around with some focuses and lightings. Have fun!

Cool picture. It's really bright and happy,But like said before the quality of the piece could be better.

Hey Ikafe.

As Demeter said, the focus looks more like on the grass behind. (Which is very good, btw.)
Also; the flower is too exposed. You should try for different angles and exposure settings while clicking a flower. Besides, as it isn't a moving object, it shouldn't be too tough.

Keep clicking.

Okay, first of all, great picture. It seems a little blurry, but I think that can be attributed more to resolution of the picture than to it not being in focus, and of course, if your camera sucks, you can still take awesome pictures.

One suggestion, however is about editing. The coloration of this photo is a little monotonous with the yellow of the flower, and the grass appearing almost a yellowish green. If I were you, I would open up Photoshop or something like it and adjust things such as Hue/Saturation and Brightness/Contrast. Between these two and some other minor adjustments, I think that you could make this even better.

Hello there!

A nice photo. As what Demeter stated above, it too reminds me of summer. :D
There were just some things that I really didn't like :( :

Brightness: Is it just my eyes or my computer or the photo? There was too much brightness in the photo esp. on the flower, sometimes distracting in the eyes.
Angle: There could've been a better angle for that. It was kind of a force to place a flower on the grass then just capture it.
Quality: Scanner or something, I didn't like the quality because the edges are kind of blurry and lastly, too much against the light.

Anyways... this a nice work but it could've been better also if you put a focal statement to it. :D <Sorry, if I was harsh or something>

Keep up!

Peace out!

hello.

i don't know a lot about photography, but here are my comments:

um, i think the flower is very bright. or maybe it's just the flash (i guess)or the sunshine. anyway, it's a bit distracting. (sorry about that) i would like it more if it's a bit deeper, or darker, you know?

the picture is okay, even the quality. although most of the comments here are suggesting something about quality stuff, i think it's good. you might just edit it a little, and even add some effects.

overall, it's brilliant! keep it up, and try your camera on other things... :)

nice grass, by the way. ha ha. :D

The flower is very beautful, but the quality of the picture is a bit fuzzy. Your main focus (the flower) is also a bit off center and you made it seem the the grass was the main focus instead. Other then that, good job and just keep working on it.

This kind of photo really makes me want to go outside and enjoy summer, smell the flowers, play football on the grass, have a great time! So in that respect it's a nice photo to look at, but I have to concur with what a lot of people say and notice that it's not entirely in focus. Also, I find the grass a bit distracting, it's not the best backdrop for the flower.

I also agree with Demeter that almost every budding photographer just seems to take pictures of flowers! Hopefully you have some other material.

Hello Ikafe!

If this picture is of what I think it's of, It's no a flower.
I think it's a dandelion, but I don't see it's greens.

I like this pic, but I don't like how bright the "dandelion" is.
I like the angle, and the green grass is beautiful!
It would've been interesting to see what it looks like in black and white.

I think you should mess around with the angles a bit more.
Keep up the good work!

Hey, I'm Lizzy and I am a photographer. I hope my comments don't come across as too harsh (just trying to help you become a better photographer). I'm a little picky about perfection. OCD as I have been called. ;)

This could be a good picture if:
It was more focused.
There wasn't so much negative space in the grass (negative space=extra space that doesn't contribute to the photo).
The angle of the flower was different; it looks squished as though it was stepped on recently.

You have the right idea but it needs a little work.

Thanks for your time!
I hope my comments will help you.
