Dear The Creative and Wildly Tamed Minds of Our Society,
Please excuse the way of introduction <lol> cause I really never speak as such in public...but I felt like a small dusting of ego could suffice a bit <lol>. Anywho, Hello fellow readers and brothers of the craft! My name is Scherezade <and hopefully one day it shall be my other half, my authorian name> and I've joined this sight in hopes of gaining inspiration and or reviewing works of fellow comrads in hopes of finishing a true work of fiction.
I currently am living in the dreary yet beautiful state of Arkansas. <as you can see from there, one could wonder how I gained such interest in literature instead of the usual slapping of revolver or 16g on his shoulder> Yes, the storms did hit us hard and no I did not fear for my death. Why did I mention such? Well I was watching the weather channel after all was getting better in the atmosphere and a news reporter asked a civillian of Scotland, Arkansas if 'when the Tornado had hit were you fearing for your life?' I mean damn! <excuse the French member as if I do speak it lol> Of course the man was scared when it seems a bulldozer is driving through your own home. Grrrrrrr...the meddles in society haha!
I currently am in a happy relationship with a beautiful man! His name is Michael, ironically. A bit taller and more handsome then me, but now a days who cares as long as the love is true! And it is! On both our ends. A true damsel if I might add, as a Knight of Scherezade would come to save with sword and shield gleaming. <fans himself>
For long messages are boring unless told with sheer quality <and I would never be that good already> so thus, I must bid my intro farewell. It was nice meeting you guys and hopefully; I'll have the opportunity to read most of all your works Gents and Ladies!!

Hey Shczerezade welcome to the YWS, do you have a nickname? Anyways nice to meet you and if you have any questions ask me or the other members for help :). So if you don't mind I got a few questions to ask you:

1. Do write poems, short stories or both?
2. What's your favorite genre to read and write?
3. Who's your favorite author/poet and book?
4. What kind of music do you like to listen you?
5. What your favorite color?

Hopefully I'll be seeing you around the site soon.

So the one above me caught on with all those good questions to ask. :) But I guess I can still say Howdy, can't I?

So welcome to the forums! If you need help figuring something out feel free to bug someone in Green. (I used to be a moderator but haven't been around in a long time and now I'm the one asking them tons of questions about things I don't understand.)

Are you working on any current projects?

Oh! By the way, be sure to watch your "French" around the main forums. ;-) It's okay to curse in literary works as long as you rate it appropriately, but try to use easier language in other areas. Since we've got a lot of young members, it's better that language is appropriate for them.

As to the French, Please pardon it! I agree that the rating of my intro should have been monitored better, just caught up with what I had to say was all. Yes I believe you are right that a 'Howdy' is in order.
Bonjour I guess <lolz>
I am currently working on a Project.
It's more of a fantasy based novel, but plays on the events of real life and from little things does ages collide.
I guess that is the more intelligent way of puting it.
But if I was to break it down, it would be more 'Tradition stinks when helping children grow, cause it has turned into a plan of mental war against society.'
Anyways, it's a little late and I should probably sleep a bit...

Omg! Thank you for your time to read my first post.
Your decision in it's own is very well thanked.
I would be interested to know if you understood the mystery behind the story.
What it was about?
Interested to know...

You're welcome. Looking back, I just felt that it had an air of poetic mystery and predestination. The ending with the man/young man leaving at the end without giving a solid reason why he was leaving also gave out a mysterious feeling. I don't know, I suppose I just liked it. :)

Uh oh, whenever we get into scholarly discussion on a Welcome thread, I know we've got some serious writers and reviewers...

Welcome to YWS!

And the way you wrote the intro - exactly what I might have done, with tongue in cheek. A healthy dose of pompousness to jolt us out of the mundane world of slang and wassups. Thank you.

Hello there, Scherezade!

Welcome to YWS! (sorry if I'm late in welcoming you  )
I'm hoping you'll enjoy being a member here who loves to write, read and looks for some inspiration... blah...blah.hehe. Anyway, try to get some badges and stars. Also, try to visit the "Chatroom", found in YWS Homepage, there you can meet other 'aspiring' writers and gain new friends. :D

Btw, your name's totally unique and I'll try to read some of your works.
Just a reminder: If you review, people would also review your work... if you don't then, you don't get reviews.

Enjoy! 8)

Please don't hesitate to PM me if you have any questions.
