Well this is not like the other pictures I have posted. This is a mixed media piece and I liked the way it turned out. Although the picture quality is not so good because I took it with my camera phone its all I had to work with so bare with me. -Bumblebee
Hey there! Ooh, I like this. I like how the testures work together to give it a more interesting, three-dimensional look. The little flowers are lovely. The one thing I can think of to critique is the beachball. Was the paint-streaming intentional? It makes your artwork look a tad messy. Besides that, great job!

So this is very funky, I love the colors and texture you've used, and I really love that little design in the left hand corner, I'm a sucker for things like that. But the biggest thing is that it all seems very random. When I see this I don't think "beach" I don't quite know what to think. You've got these really cool flowering branches and things, then you have that medieval like design, and lastly a beach ball that's bleeding colors, and while I love each thing on it's own. As a whole, it doesn't really work.

I can see what your saying about the randomness of it, but the design in the corner is supposed to be abstract way to draw waves, it started out as a beach themed so I just kept the name even though it didn't fit as well. In my mind it fits probably because I'm the artist but I understand what you mean by it not fitting as well if that makes sense. Thanks for the reviews -Bumblebee
As Bondgirl said, 'beach' is not what comes to my mind when I see it. But I still do like this. The black design on the right feels out-of-place. I mean, it would look good on a page designing but not here. I'm okay with the tree-like things but maybe you should add more 'beach-ish' funky things.

Wow, that's really cool, bumblebee. It doesn't really remind me of a beach at first, but once I thought about it did a bit more so. The colors look like a color scheme you might see at a beach house, and the beach ball makes sense, although it almost looks like it's dripping all its colors off??
Thanks for posting!
