Knowledge and Imagenation

There are knowledge and imagination. Knowledge makes the word create and imagination creates creation.

Knowledge plays like a old guitar it's strings can only stretch so far.
You need to tune it so it can play you a song, don't break your strings or it will steer you wrong.

Imagination is a wild animal in a cage, create a key to unlock it to the next stage. Let it out and let it fly it will make you see things making you ask it why.

Thane - I have no idea what this is doing in the lyrics section. To me, it read like a poem that had been cornered into sentences. Let it run WILD - it's such a beautiful idea. And I liked it all the more since it's something I've often thought about - intelligence and imagination (you might want to fix up your spelling of that word in the title, by the way ).

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't too keen on the first line. But I LOVED the meaning and the thoughtfulness behind the second. That is so clever!

To me, this read like a summarised version of an essay on someone else's poem. I really don't know what you should do with it - on the one hand, it is absolutely beautiful and ever-inventive (those are similes I'd never thought of before), on the other, I'm not actually so sure how well it'd fare in a poem, either.

So...my suggestion is this: write a piece (kind of like an essay, but let YOUR imagination run wild with which figures of speech you use, and how imaginative you are) on this topic and put it into the non-fiction section. I think it's also such a good topic for debate, too, so maybe let the debate group get their teeth into it as well.

Oh, and I would have liked this to have been longer, much longer
