Manga Girl With Nirvana Top

My friend recently taught me how to draw in a manga style. So I drew a girl with a Nirvana top. I am going to colour in the backround, but I was just wondering which colour... Any ideas?

p.s. Once I get the colour it in, I'll post it up and resize it properly. This is more like an unfinished drawing. But like I said, I need your ideas for backround colour.

It would be really helpful if you resized the image first so we can get a better idea of what it looks like before we give you feedback on what color to do the background. That being said, I'm a big fan of drawing backgrounds that show a setting where your character might be (an office, in a forest, near the beach, etc.) to create a feeling of a whole work instead of just a blank character sheet sort of thing. Depends on what you're going for, of course. Keep up the drawing! The more you do, the better you get!

I also agree with Bobo. I don't like having to scroll to see the whole image. Otherwise though, I thought it was a pretty cool picture.

Nice! I like it. Here's my only critique:
It seems like you want to make it seem like the girl's head is turned a bit to the right. It looks like the girl turned her head, but her hair didn't come with her. But other than that, good job. You captured the manga feeling very well.

Yeah, I only realised that now. Anyway, I've drawn the backround and I'll posst it up soon. I wish that I could fix the hair though

Hi tam_ara. You are really passionate about Manga's it seems. Well, they weren't very good for the truth. But you can really improve.
Just follow these steps:
The neck is very broad and narrowing it a bit would make this girl seem real and not superficial.
Then come her arms, they are looking to me like they're stuck with glue. So make them a bit free and flexible.
The part in the left here her hair should be there are missing in some area. LOL she's looking bald.

Ir really liked her face; her tiny eyes, her pouting lips and eyelashes. That was the best part.
