Anime Chibi girl

Hey everyone. This is a chibi (a Japanese word that means "small person" or a small version of an anime character. Hope you guys like it. I know... the girl has no hands, it's because her sleeves are too long it covers her entire arm.hehe.

Yeah, it's super cute... I'm glad that you resized it! I think the lighting could be a little better.
I think you need to colour it in more neat but other that that I like it.

Hey Yuriiko! This is my very first review of an art & photography piece.

I thought this was so cute! Wonderfully drawn with good use of colour. If you were to give an apporximate height and age of this girl, what would they be? She looks very young and short. If it is possible, lighting up the image a bit more would be fantastic.

Keep up the fantastic drawings.

So, this is a nice sketch. I'm not much of an anime person, but this is a cute drawing. Just a few nitpicks, though...
1.) She doesn't have any hands. Even anime people have hands. You may not be good at drawing hands, but you still need to draw them for the sake of your picture and for practice.
2.) Where are her feet? Feet are not square.
3.) I don't see her nose, either! EEEK!
4.) The eyes are spaced quite far apart.
Overall, this is a good picture with just a few faults. Keep working at it.

Hello, Yuriiko! I draw a lot of chibis myself. xD It's fun! And I think you already know that.

Okay, on with the review. I am a traditional art critique, but I'll try not to be harsh.
Here's the thing. If you want to improve in drawing, you have to study proportions. Can you see the face? It's slightly lifted at the right side. You have to be careful with proportions, especially when drawing anime. Here are some tips to help you improve:

1. Always draw lightly first with a pencil.

When I draw, I have a variety of pencil leads to choose from. Most of my pencils are Staedler--F, H, etc.; my fave is 2B. If you want to greatly improve in sketching, you have to buy at least three kinds of pencils, all differing thickness. I suggest an H, a 2B, and an 8B. The thinnest pencil is used for lightly sketching, what sometimes is called the skeleton of your work. You just don't draw thick lines right away. Even the greatest sketchers start from light sketches. So, try doing that as well, okay? =)

2. Have a mirror with you.

After the skeleton sketch, which will be the base of your work, try to face your drawing in front of the mirror. I don't know if people really do that, but I do. When you face your work in the mirror first, you can see if your work is proportional.

3. When thickening lines, please, never do a brush movement, like the up, down, up down sketching.

That technique is used for shading. Drawing anime, Just simply follow the light lines. Don't brush!

I'm done. I like your drawing though. But I think the colors are a bit dull. I get the "her hands can't be seen" thing. LOL

Okay, I looked at the picture again, a few more nitpicks for you to improve:

1. The eyes are too triangular; they look more of a mountain than eyes. Try "arching" them.
2. I seem to have missed the feet. I scrolled down but still did not see them. Where are them?
