I just personally love soundtracks especially Pirates of the Caribbean and Batman and was just wondering if any one else had suggestions.

I like anime soundtracks and Japanese instrumental in general, even though I don't watch anime.

At least Japanese music inspire me more than our usual one. LOTR OST is fabulous though.

Ah! Also Swee November OST, City Of Angels, Virgin Suicides, Donnie Darko OSTs, though they might be girlie for you..? ^^

LOTR, Lawrence of Arabia, Paprika, anything by Vangelis, and Gladiator. I especially love Gladiator.

I love 'Earth' from Gladiator. It's such a relaxing piece of music, but deep and thought provoking at the same time. I love to listen to it when writing!!

I love anything Hans Zimmer. Pirates, Crimson Tide, Madagascar, Gladiator. I also love the Narnia soundtracks by Harry Gregson-Williams - The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe are fantastic. Alexandre Desplat is quite good as well, he did the New Moon score, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. My ultimate favourite is Rachel Portman's stuff, she did Emma, Nicholas Nickleby, The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, Sirens, The Lake House, Mona Lisa Smile, The Duchess, Chocolat.

At the moment I've got the Treasure Planet soundtrack by James Newton Howard on repeat. I love '12 Years Later', it's scifi pirate!

The Prince of Egypt, Troy (very instrumental, but good music), Corteo (Cirque Du Soleil)

Thanks! I'll have to check some of these out! Right now, I'm mainly listening to Hans Zimmer's stuff. The song Davy Jones by him is amazing! Also Batman's The Dark Knight is pretty good. I've been meaning to look up Narnia for a while, but haven't. Gladiator sounds interesting though. Thanks again!

Donnie Darko is a great soundtrack for my 80s music fix.

And then there's the Watchmen soundtrack, which is just random good stuff. :D

I recently re-discovered the soundtrack from Spirit: Stallion of the Cima-something...er...yeah, the movie about the horse. That one.

Even if I can't quite remember the title, the soundtrack is quite good. That movie had some awesome songs. I really like "Get Off My Back". So good!
