Yes! It's the word of the week. But like Matt said, everybody's done it at one point or another. So what spoonerisms have you done?

My worst one was when I saw a shop called, "The Sleep Shop."

I smiled and pointed. "Look, it's The Sheep Slop!"

I used to have a problem communicating, as a result I have my own brand of sign language. Its decayed greatly over the years, but when I was little, you kinda had to know me to understand what I was saying.

It was like spoonerism, but with entire words.

For instance, the first sentence up there

Word week of the its. Which makes perfect sense to me, but that would be how I said it.

Anymore, however, I usually speak in spoonerisms.

"Lets not go up the stairy scarecase." and "You tippled my nickle!"

Spoonerisms rawk.
I don't think i've ever said any, except that someone had a "bummy tug" and in the "game of nod" but if you really love spoonerisms watch the two ronnies sketch. Tis hillarious.
"Too teety to be a preacher"
"Little Hilly Bumfrees"
" I was just out rolling in the strows bushes."
*cracks up*

I know I have accidentally used spoonerisms quite a bit.. but of course I can't think of one of them right now.

My choir director does it allllll the time though. I think it is on purpose, but hard to tell. It is a little disturbing when he says, "May the Lord kess you and bleep you."
