Hi there; my name's Irene. I've been writing novels for over six years, including fanfictions. I've completed two novels and abandoned a fanfiction of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as it hit 42,000 words (this was when I was eleven). I had just written after Link meets Princess Zelda and Impa escorts him away. I still have this 'fic, unlike the softcopies of my original novels, but I won't post it. There are a lot of places where I omitted a semi-colon before "however", and it's shameful.
I'm currently working on a loosely-related Pokemon fanfiction. It can be found in the fanfiction section of YWS and on designated sites (check the topic; if you see it posted elsewhere under a different name, do tell me immediately). It currently is about 6% done at almost 19,000 words. I plan on finishing it as a Pokemon fanfiction and then editting out the Pokemon parts, since it's not hardcore-Pokemon to begin with, and dub it an original novel. You can see that it's 100% possible to do if you go and read it.
I signed up initially to be a reviewer - not to be reviewed. Comments are nice, and I'll take them into consideration, but my main task is to offer my reviewing abilities to everyone. Check out my topic in the "Will Review For Food" forum and you can see a link there to a LiveJournal page with URLs to all of the reviews I've ever done on several other forums. Based on that, I hope I can be of assistance to some of the young writers here.
