Wow, I wasn't wrong; these guys were idiots. One of the girls, the leader I assumed, told everyone to stay back and fight. It may have been stupid, but I was pretty impressed actually. The may have been stupid, but at least they weren't wimps.
Everyone seemed to have weapons on them. Well, everyone except for me. As chaos erupted around me, I ran towards the group and punched a guy in the balls. Now this was fun. We must have been fighting for something like ten minutes when I felt someone hit me hard across my eye. Without being able to do anything else, I fell to the soft ground below me. As quickly as I could, I jumped back up and managed to hit the guy who'd just hit me. I was obviously angry because I managed to knock him out.
As I watched the rest of the guys attack the guards, I paused for a few minutes. Most of the guards were gone now so I was pretty safe. I hadn't realised how out of breath I was until now. My heart felt as though it was beating out of my chest. My head felt even worse. Watching the other guys fight, the sounds around me began sounding muffled and my body slowly began to feel numb.
Shit... I thought, closing my eyes. I couldn't pass out now. I tried - and failed - to force myself to breathe calmly. I could hear the muddled sound of fighting around me. I could make out the voice of one of the guys shouting at me, obviously wanting me to help. But I couldn't help. I couldn't even think straight.
It only took seconds for me to give up. I suddenly felt myself fall onto the ground below me once more. Except this time, I didn't get back up. I was too busy being unconscious. I hated banging my head...
