Hey, I'm Angel or Emily. Whatever you want to call me. I'm new and I'm really excited. I looked through some of the writing to decide if I wanted to join and the writing was great. I can be enthusiastic sometimes, but I'm not always like this, so don't worry. I'm not super hyper or anything. I'm kind of lost when I see all of the things to do on the site, but I'll try my best. I really want to meet other young writers and make new friends. I have friends, but none of them are like me or even the writer type, so I wanted to know some people that shared my interests. I write poetry, fiction, reflections, and anything that I'm in the mood for. :D

Hi! Welcome!

I know the feeling. I have few writer friends, myself.

Hey Emily! Welcome to YWS! I'm sure you will find the people here kind and willing to help you out with any problem that you may have. The lay out may seem daunting at first, but you get used to it after a while.

So you write poetry? That's cool. I am not good at it at all though. Do you like fantasy fiction at all? Let me know whenever you write anything. I'll review it for you.

Well anyway, welcome.

Hi Emily! Welcome to YWS. :D

I'm glad you're excited to start here; it's a great mind-set to have, especially when it can be a little overwhelming at first. :) I know you'll do great though.

A few pointers to help you along:

 Ask questions. We love those. Any question you may have, we're all glad to help you answer them!

 Review! If you post some of your work on here, try and help others with theirs. Tell them what you liked or didn't like about their work, and if you have tips on how to help them improve, don't be shy! After all, that is the point of this website. :P To help and be helped.

 Look around. Click on random links every now and then just to get the feel for the site. Anything you click on has a purpose, and it's great to know how to utilize those things! Usually, there will be a topic at the beginning of a forum explaining what goes there, just so you don't end up posting a painting you created in Fantasy, or things like that. :D

 Ask questions. Wait, did I mention that? Woops.

Anyways, I'm glad you joined, and hope to see you around! PM me with any concerns or questions you may have.

Hey Angel! Welcome to YWS. I'm Sealegs and I'm new as well and also excited that you're new at the same time! (That makes no sense, I know.) You'll learn your way around this site pretty fast, I promise. Also, I'm a poet and writer of fiction so keep in touch. I'll make sure to read you when I see your writing around! Happy trails.

Hey Emily - welcome to YWS. Like you, I joined the site just recently (maybe about 7 or 8 days ago), but in that time, I've managed to figure out where everything is, and what options there are - so you'll have no trouble, I assure you.

Yes, it's really quite exciting to join something as big as this, isn't it? And, of course, you'll know a lot more about it, since you've been browsing around before. Me, I jumped in knowing nothing :D

I'm a short story and poem girl, mainly, but I LOVE to read novels too. I will devour them, voraciously. Favourite author would have to be Jodi Piccoult. What about you?

If you have any questions, or would like a review on short stories/poems, feel free to PM me.
