New feller.

Hey there. I'm an amateur writer that's trying to get people to read what he's written. So, here I am.

Huh. I can't think of anything really clever to say here. Guess I'll talk about myself some more. I've been writing seriously for the past few years, working primarily with a story I came up with around my junior year of High School. My favorite books would be, It by Stephen King, Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, A Sand County Almanac by Aldo Leopold, and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. I'm a big nature fan, and currently attend college to get an associates in Wilderness Management, so I can tell you a lot about trees and animals and stuff. I like a wide variety of music, and play bass guitar myself.
I'll post some of my stuff later on, see what people think.

My favorite genre to write would probably be fantasy fiction, although I try not to restrict myself. :3

Favorite animal would be the fox, and favorite color would probably be blue.

I saw that you were very interested in nature and animals. Does that translate into your writing? For example, have you ever considered writing articles about some aspect of nature or animals? Or maybe just a story?

A related question: Have you read books like Watership Down or The Firebringer, which are written about animal characters? I enjoyed both of them! ^_^

Also, which type of fox is your favorite? I always like the red fox, and my boyfriend saw a couple running around in this area recently. I didn't get to see them though! Disappointing, huh? Hehe~

So you're into nature? I agree with Hannah, Watership Down would be a great book to read then - it's really good.
I watched the film It, based on the Stephen King novel, and have been meaning to read the novel ever since! I just haven't got round to it, it seems very long! But I've been told it's very good, and gory! xD
It's really cool that you play bass guitar, I would love to learn it. Of course, after I finally get to leave violin, continue guitar, and take up drums! xD
Fox's are cool, except they ate my friends chickens, which upset her!

I just read the Invisible Man in my American Lit. class! I think it is one of the best written books I have ever come across. So that's cool to meet someone else who feels the same way.

Hello everyone that's answered me recently.

Hannah: It actually does, which was my intention when I went into the Wildlife Management program. A writer must have something to write about, I figure. I've posted stuff already, so you could go look at that if you'd like, in the fantasy section. My favorite fox would actually be the Cross variant of the red fox; I just think the colors are neat. I've never read Watership down, but I have read a similar--although lesser known--story called Tailchaser's song, which was about cats.

Fizza: Yes, very graphic is It. Can't say I'd recommend it to a person of a queasy stomach.
