What's in a name...

Hello everyone. My name is Antonia, or Toni... whichever you wish to call me is perfectly fine. I'm sixteen and i am a bit of a geek.
[beware]I just quoted Shakespeare, i like quoting people who are inspiring.

I have four main passions; Writing, Acting, Drawing and Music.

Writing
I can write lots of different stuff but i generally get drawn to horror, science fiction, fantasy and poetry. I've loved writing ever since i was about six and i do tend to write stuff detailed... not just in stories, but in replies to any conversation. [Beware].
I have three pieces of work published in anthologies/collections; two poems and one story (but the story was when i was 12).

As i mentioned, i love Acting and it's the only place i am confident. I draw alot; mainly fashion designs/costumes and superheroes and comics. Finally, i love my music... Jazz and Musical Theatre are what i usually say i like but i'll give anything a go. Elvis, Sinatra, John Barrowman, Michael Buble, Katherine Jenkins... it varies.

I'm a nice person and [beware] i'm a geek and i love Doctor Who, David Tennant and John Barrowman.

Hehe, I like writing and acting as well. Shakespeare is pretty awesome, I take class regarding that every summer and at the end we put on a play. Last summer we did Midsummer Night's Dream, and I was Hermia.

Writing, acting, music, and drawing--I love them all, however, I fail miserably at most of them besides writing. They all fit into one category--the arts! I find most writers also like drawing, or music, or the such. It's quite amusing.
Oh my. Shakespeare! He was a genius...like Einstein but instead of studying science, he produced some of the best plays and stories out there.

Wow, you do a lot of interesting stuff! And don't worry, there are a LOT of geeks on here. I'm another one.

I used to be an actor in college, but I always got typecast as the female villain. x.x So what do you mainly act in?

I'll probably end up checking out your sci-fi, so beware. That is, as soon as I get settled after moving.

Hi Antonia Louise. What's in a name, right? Like you, I love Shakespeare - favourite all round plays would have to be Merchant of V, King Lear, Macebth, and a good laugh is the Midsummer's Night's Dream. What about you?

Yeah, everyone here's a bit of a geek, myself included, scribbling away at some masterpiece for the future, or just improving our skills. Congrats on getting published so much!

I think people here are artists and musicians too, or into the arts at the very least. Acting, music, it all helps with the writing. I get what you're saying about the whole 'imagining conversations' thing - I do it all the time. Good for script-writing, I guess - but I reckon you'd have the upper hand with your acting experience there

Oh, I just noticed you're from Nottingham. I'm guessing that's in England (and not some random American town with a British name), and I'm pretty sure we've lived there at some point. (Yeah, it's omplicated: born in England, lived everywhere there and in Wales, lived in India, now a citizen of NZ, whoopdedoo). So...I guess I breathed the same air as you at some time in the past, which is kind of...creepy. It's a small world, and that is SO cliche.

I've been acting at school for 4 years, but prior to that i was one of the pupils who didn't do any clubs because i was too shy. And then i found acting and POW! I suddenly found something that fitted. Now i'm at school usually three hours extra every night doing some form of acting. I also go to an Acting School called The Paul Nicholas School of Acting once a week and i'm going on to do acting at college.
I've been in roles such as Lady Bracknell In The Importance of Being Earnest, Mrs Johnston in Blood Brothers, Roxy in Chicago. I don't get to do many at the minute because i have my GCSE's coming up. Eeek...



Yes Nottingham , England. That's cool, i'd love to travel.. i've not even been abroad.

Thank you again for your lovely welcomes and i can't wait to get reading and writing.. however i have a mountain of coursework this weekend and i really need to get on with that But i'll be ready straight away afterwards. I have to draw 8 comic book covers in two days, and write two essays.
(No i've not left my homework until late, this is about a third of my homework for my two week holiday. )
