Reality: The Game?

I, for one, think it's a little creepy to have every single thing you do recorded in a database. I can't say I liked this Jesse Schnell guy very much at all, but he brought out facts; everything in the world is being recorded, told to the internet, put in a database, and it's consuming life. But I think that humanity is a little smarter to actually compell themselves, or at least verbally convince them, to brush their own teeth without getting an online achievement for it. Or are we? I don't think I am, and I don't want to be. I do things because I want to do them, not because I want to brag about it.

Wow this is really, really strange. It makes me a little sad, too. Is our society really that entralled in technology and instant gratification that we need to be constantly playing some sort of game? Are we that incapable of doing things by our own will?

It seems like this will give advertisers and corporations even more control over the populous than it already has. Its like...they're going to try to train us. Like animals. We'll be little human puppy dogs to our lordly corporate masters.
