These are some pictures I took today of spring in Kentucky. They are all with a digital camera. If you ever come to Kentucky during this time this is what you will see. If you come in May, though, all the trees will have their leaves including the ones near the intersection of my street.

This is a picture of some Mallard Ducks that have come to our pool for two years now. We feed them and I believe that is the reason why they came back. They refuse to leave also, but we don't mind.

This is a tree in my front yard. It's leaves are starting to sprout so it's in its late bloom.

This is a tree in my across-the-street neighbors yard. This one is still in the middle of it's bloom.

These are very pretty :) I like the ducks' reflections in the water. The purple flowers are pretty too, but maybe you want to zoom in on one like you did with the white ones? It can make the picture a little more interesting.
Keep it up!

I love your photos. They are much better than mine. The place in Kentucky where you live looks really beautiful. My favorite photos are the clump of flowers on a tree in a forest patch and the one of the Mallard ducks in the pool. I think the purple flowers on your sidewalk are Wild Violet. Have a great day Fiction.

Oh, these are really good. My favorite is definitely the third one. The fourth one with the other tree is my least favorite though. It seems cut off without having the base of the tree in the picture especially with the previous tree picture before it being so good. I'm not a fan of the last three because flowers aren't my style. Lastly, but first on the list is the one with the ducks. I felt this one was cool because for some reason at first I thought they were fake. (Lol!)

You live in a beautiful place, Quetseli, that's for sure!
My fav: First picture. It's simple, yet, I like it!
Least fav: Second one. Too many things are in the picture, making it complicated.
The flower pics are all very pretty!
Hope I helped.

Oh wow your photography is amazing! The ducks look really cute!
-> And the second picture just looks really good! It's really well focused! Although i'd say it'd look much better without the dead leaves in it.
-> The third one looks ok, but the pink doesn't work well with the green and the rest of the picture.
-> The fourth one is simply beautiful, although again it doesn't seem to work well with the background... :-/
->The fifth one is really good, simple. And that bird perching on that branch is really cute! You should have zoomed into that, and then the picture would have been truly amazing!
-> The sixth is gorgeous, i love the flowers they look beautiful! But i think you should've focused on the flowers closest to the camera.
The rest look really good though, keep up the amazing photography! Can't wait for more. :P

Hey, Seli! Ah, Spring. Gotta love it, hmm? Well, I do.
Picture 1: This is okay. I like the water's reflection, but the side of the pool ruins it for me. Nothing you can do about that, though ;) Nice colors, however.
Picture 2: I don't like this. You must have been shooting around noon--a time photographers call "harsh light". Too bright. If you have an editing program, like Elements 8, I'd convert it to Black and White and add some textures and maybe lower the levels of light.
Picture 3: Alright. Beautiful, you're white balance was spot on...but the background distracts me oh so much.
Picture 4: Wow. I love trees like this one and the one in picture number three. Again, the background isn't the most pleasing, but what bothers me is how/what angle you took the photo at. I feel like you shouldn't have cut the trunk out of the picture, and maybe you could have taken the pic lengthwise--it would have also minimized background distractions, too.
Picture 5: So...dull. Just, its not interesting. At all.
Picture 6: Lovely. Except, I would have kept all the flowers in focus--and that little bee ;) It would have made for a lovely, divine photo.
Picture 7: This is alright--decent, I love the depth of focus you used.
Picture 8: I don't like this much. I think you should have zoomed in on the bee. You keep taunting me with bee pictures, except I can never really see the bee!
Nice work. Keep it up. Need anything, just PM me. :)
Toodles!

Hi there!
Your pictures were pretty. I especially liked the first one; cute ducks. :)
However, I have two suggestions to make. First, next time you take pictures, try to not make the subject exactly in the center of the frame (I noticed you did this especially with the trees). Try using the rule of thirds (there's a very helpful wikipedia page about it, or you can PM me if you don't know what that is), or experiment with creative angles. This makes the photo more interesting and offers a different perpective.
Second, your photos with the bee. If your camera has it, use the macro option. This will get the bee into better focus, though you might have to play around with the zoom a bit since, at least with my camera, when there's a lot going on like flowers or something, it tends to focus in on something other than what I want it to.

Great job! I'd like to see more of your photos. :)

Hey!

These were really good in my opinion! I especially loved he first one, considering I have a love for ducks.

Although, my least favourite would have to be the third one. I don't really like the colours in it. Like someone else said, the pink and the green don't really work well together.

Except for that, I really liked these pictures! You obviously have talent.

Sorry this review's been short, I've got to go! I'll definitely be looking out for more of your pictures from now on though.
