This is my attempted photography of the woods near the back of the farm where I live. This is the woods. This is the stream. This was an interesting tree. The meadow. I have never done this before so I would appreciate your reviews.
Hello! I don't know much about photography but I think these are pretty cool. One thing that struck me is the kind of desolate look of the last one, and perhaps you could make it look even more desolate and perhaps even a little eerie in black and white. I don't know why, but it strikes me as a little like... all is not as it seems. Also, if you want to take a pic of a tree, it might be cool to take a shot close to it and looking up, so you can see how tall it is and the sky above it. But I am definitely not a photographer, these are just a couple of things that came to me.
They're really nice pictures! The thing I would suggest is if you are trying to make one thing single out from the back ground is get a closer pic, like with the tree with the mushrooms. I did this with my picture and that's just using a digital camera! But those are some good pictures and the tree/mushroom one and the creek are my favorites. Would you mind looking at mine? Enjoyable. They are quite good and it's a very interesting forest you have there. I like how there is the dense forest in most of the pictures and then the meadow is completely different. Thus I liked the diversity. The stream photo is also eye appealing, but to me it appears to be a bit tilted instead of flat (camera angle). The quality isn't very high, but they're all still great.

Hey there! Not sure how to review Photography, but I'll just leave you with my opinions.
1. All of these are very sad, but this is the saddest of all, at least for me. There's no color in this, and I feel as though I can see on for miles through these trees, which makes it seem like an endless, colorless forest. It's a bit creepy; good job!
2. I like the photo, but I don't like the angle. Something doesn't seem right in it. I'm not sure if it's your camera angle, but it seems as though the entire earth is off it's rotation and tilting uncontrollably. It makes me uncomfortable; I have to shift my head a certain way to see the river at all, or else I'm too focused on the angle. I don't like this one much.
3. It's very... boring. There's not much to say. There's no angle, no focus. I'm not sure of what I'm supposed to be looking at. With forest pictures, you have to remember that there are a lot of other people who take pictures of forests. It's your job as a photographer to make the picture your own, and original. I don't see originality or personal style in this.
4. Very nice. I'm not sure what your style is; the first one is like never-ending depression, the second is some weird abstract thing, the third is... boring, and this one is hopeful. Maybe your style is random? haha Anyways, I really like this one. I love the landscape, and how the camera is positioned on a hill, looking out, but not down, on nature. It says something to me. It says "I am equal with nature." You probably weren't thinking this when you took it, but it's still good that I got that out of this. Beautiful photo!
Hey! Nice to meet you. I'm Mizzle. Okay, so all of these have a sad, desolate feeling to them. How...magical! Picture 1: This is nice. Very sad, very....empty--you know, I think this would make for a great black and white. I'd try it and see what it looks like, if I were you. Picture 2: The photo is...decent. Like Cap'n Classy, I agree that it seems like something is off--the angle, no doubt. This is not my favorite, not even close. Picture 3: This is so boring! So dull. So lifeless. Photographers capture beauty--or horror--or anything, really. But a photographer knows different angles to capture each and every picture! Like, for example, for this picture I would have shot from above, looking down the trunk of the tree. It would have showed off the beautiful texture of those mushrooms. Put it simply, you've got to try more angles than just the same old, same old straight ones. Picture 4: This one is okay. I don't think it's magnificent, but its not bad either. I feel like you need some more "spice" to your photos. My advice: work on your angles! Add spice! And if you do that, you'll be on your way. Toodles! Questions/comments? PM me. -Mizz

I love it when people take my advice--but sometimes it takes more than once for them to really understand the concept, here. Love your cat...the pictures just don't do the fella justice, though. Trust me, I know your pain--pets are so hard to take pictures of! The little devils don't sit still! But we love them, eh? And, you'll treasure these pictures. I'm gonna help you with some advice to take different pictures you'll love even more, though. I feel like the first four tiny pics of the cat, all the same pic, just different cartoony edits are not so good. What is the original like? The second one of the grouchy expression on his face--great capture. Not the best picture, but you'll love it forever, which is important. When taking photos of fast moving subjects you'll need to set your aperture and shutter speeds for that type of photography. The last one of him in the bed, the background is so distracting to me!
