Comprehend/ Unfamiliar/Google Ad

It's been ages since I've posted, so I thought I'd give you all a bit of what I've been working on.

First up, is my piece that just went into an art show. It was exciting!

Google Ad
Google is (submission period just closed) holding a competition called Doodle 4 Google, in which kids can submit their own Google ads and the winner will get a 15k scholarship, their submission on the Google website, and some other things. The chances of me winning is like .5 out of a million, but I still had fun with it.



So yeah. That's my art in the past whatever. Hope you enjoyed it!

These are all great!

The first one had me thinking the longest. Something about it makes it look like it is just randomly painted, but something else makes me think it was all planned. I love the mystery in this piece. And the colors as well.

The second piece reminded me somehow of Van Gogh's paintings. Strange huh? It's also interesting and definitely isn't and eye sore like other pieces I've seen.

Lastly my favorite the google logo. It truly is unique, and I really love it! Not much else to say about it, but I love the pictures you chose for each letter and together it looks great.

I'd like to say that I agree with DayDreams, the second one does look a heck of a lot like a Van Gogh for whatever reason. And that's a good thing. He was a great artist.

I think you expressed yourself well in your works; I can look at them and go, "Wow, this is emotions." So good job!

PS: My favorite is the third. I think it's because it's both familiar and different. I get the best of both worlds there, ya know?

I love all three of these, can't pick a favorite! They're all really good, you have a very artistic eye which is much more rare than it may seem. Keep doing art, it's your thing. I have no complaints...balance, proportion, interest, it's all there. Nice.

DayDreams- Van Gogh? Wow. Haha. I don't think I've seen much of his work except for the very famous one. I don't suppose I see it, but thank you nonetheless! Also, Comprehend started out random, and then as I began to see it all coming together, that's when I planned it out a bit more.

icanbefixed- I'm glad you can see emotion. That's what I was hoping for.

StoryWeaver13- Thank you! And I will. I love art more than writing, believe it or not.

shubhiloves2write- I'll find out in late May who wins, unfortunately, if I remember correctly.

I loved the first one. The colors. The streaks of paint, the splatters of paint, the patterns. I loved all of it, especially how you left a gap of different shades of blue in the middle, and how it has specks of paint of all the colors on it. Everything goes together perfectly.

Wow, Bittersweet, you impressed me so much my jaw dropped. I mean...honestly. You're good. At art. So, so, good.
"Comprehend"--Wow, I really love this. It makes me think of so many different things, and scenarios, it's honestly a wonderful piece.
"Unfamiliar"--This is alright. It's not my favorite, something's just off to me and I can't pinpoint it.
I absolutely love your Google AD! I would <3 having it on my home page! I hope you win.

I really like these. There isn't much I can say. They are very individual and that is why I like them.

There's this uniqueness and individuality about your art that most other kids don't have.
Other kids usually just use standard technique but you don't you're awesome.

I think I liked the first one the best. It is so mysterious, planned and yet, not planned. I like it.
The second was okay, though personally, the colors did not appeal to my senses.
The third one, the google ad, I love it! I love how you drew the sun. My favorite letter was the g. I just love how you drew the little people!
