I just wanted to say hi, and that I am very excited to be joining this site, and I am happy to be meeting you. My name is Mackenzie, and I have been writing for quite a while, but haven't really shared it with anyone outside of teachers, friends, and family. I really love the work that I do, and I hope that you enjoy it.

That's really neat that you share your writing with your teachers, friends, and family. I've only just started letting my family read what I write. Though, for some reason, I have felt just fine with letting complete strangers and my YWS friends read my work for over a year... hmm.

Howdy Mackenzie!

I used to never let anyone read my writing. Then after awhile (and after finding this site) I actually didn't care what others thought and began to let family, friends and heck anyone to read [certain] stories that I've written and finished.

It's nice to have you here and can't wait to read some of your work. What do you enjoy writing/reading?

I love to write both poetry and fiction, I try to change it up every now and then.

Who's your favorite author?
Gaah, so hard to choose. I really love C.S. Lewis, Edgar Allen Poe, and Dan Brown.

What's your favorite color?
I would say it's between blue, grey, and white.

What genre do you like to read most?
I enjoy horrors, fantasies, and thrillers. I'm kind of all over the place!

I really enjoy writing about everyday people and things, but I can get dark sometimes. I want people to think about what they read afterwards, and of course I want them to enjoy it!
