Eighth-

((fiction, would you mind not god-modding my character? I have plans of my own))

"So," Natas drawled," What's the plan? Wait for Zara, or invade? Personally, I think we could give Zara a few moments to try and gain some secrets and then attack, but, majority rules. Right?"

I thought for a moment. "I agree, mostly. However, I think it would be wiser to play with their minds. Let them think that we're playing defensive. Give Zara a bit longer. When she returns, we'll get information, and then plan more. If we know their exact strategies, we'll have a better chance of conquering them. Let them think they have the upper hand, for now. Once they see that their elders are dead, they will begin to be afraid, or perhaps angry. What will they do if, say, a band of civilians with knives and pitchforks came running at them? They'll be weakened, but assume that we are as well if we sent other humans to attack them. They'll launch a disorganized attack, and we'll be ready. Zara will tell us their plans, and they won't stand a chance." I said. "And the elder's dragons will die with them. Their lives are connected. That won't be a problem." I added. I looked around, seeing if the others agreed.
Honey, you should see me in a crown.

BRYSTIANNE and NUKPANO

She hated it. She wished that Nuk would come to her and apologize. Or at least they both would apologize. If he could do it, then she could too.

Bree paced back and forth, Elders casting glances her way. She ignored them, annoyed. It wasn't their business where Nuk was. She didn't even know herself. She wished she did.

"Can I see Zara then?" Bree asked, hotly. They had refused her to visit. She'd like to make sure the girl was okay.

"Well...we're talking to her about what's happened," the was something in the Elder's expression that made Bree think he, too, thought Zara might not be on their side.

Bree's eyes flashed dangerously. "I would love to hear what you're saying to her. I'm her friend," Bree said, although they weren't really that close. "Let me talk to her."

Knowing he would waste his time srguing with her, the Elder led her to Zara. She looked panicked and slightly scared. The poor girl.

"Zara," Bree said, smiling a little. "You alright?"

Dumb question, she thought, with a sigh.

Alice:

I warned Ash Ash, you better be keeping an eye on her. If she cracks destroy anyone she tells and remind her that I have easier acess then she does right now to her dragon. I reply came from Ash immediatly after All right, I will. But if I have to kill anyone you aren't allowed to listen in. I rolled my eyes and didn't reply. Eighth's plan was smart. I hop it works. What am I saying, of course it'll work.

Natas:
I looked around the room as everything fell silent, waiting for someone to speak up or anything. This silence was uncomfortable. My chair squeezed as I pushed it back slowly, the sound echoed through the room.
"Well," I started slowly, "I suppose i'll be on my way." Eighth glanced at me but quickly loss interest and looked away. "Wake me if there's important news." I made sure to put extra emphasis on 'important'. I bowed slightly and started out the room, closing the door as softly as possible behind me.

My room was cool and comfortable. I sat on the bed with my legs folded in a yoga position, my palms were face up, resting on my thighs and my hair, still wet from the shower I took not too long ago, was hanging in my face.
'The only way to end the night is with yoga,' my mom always used to tell me before collapsing on the ground with a heavy sigh. Her legs crossed and her arms folded across her chest. I wonder what she was doing now. Probably out with one of her suitors. That-
Watch your tongue, Natas. I won't allow you to even think of your mother in that way. I sighed and opened one eye before closing it again.
Shut up and get out of my head. Air rushed into my room through a window I instantly regretted not shutting, as Shadow placed himself outside. I unfolded my legs with a grunt and laid back.
It was three years ago He said with a sigh.
It was the reason I left! She's a little...
Hold your tongue! I won't bear another minute of this...this disrespect! I expect more from you! Learn to let go!
"Never! Now, go away!" He started to say something, but I jumped up and shut my window, sending the message that I deemed this conversation null and void.
You can't hide forever.
"I don't need that long," I mumbled, knowing he could hear me. There was a long silence. At least three minutes before the flapping of wings started strong before steadily fading into the distance.

Zara:

I glared at Bree. I didn't even know her all that well.

"Oh, just peachy," I muttered and rolled my eyes.

The Elder shot me a strange look. I ignored her. Bree frowned at me.

"What?" I asked quietly.

Bree arched an eyebrow at me. "You sure you're fine?"

"I'm fine," I whispered and sat up, wincing when my wound hurt. I put an arm over my stomach. I couldn't let them find out about me. I couldn't let them find out that I was worknig for Eighth. Roshan roared in my mind and I winced again.

"Clearly you are not fine," the Elder said pushing back into lying down.

**Let's not let this die! xD**

BREE

She didn't blame Zara for getting mad at her. Not at all. The poor girl. She probably missed her dragon. They would get Roshan back for her.

"This is why we need to attack them," Bree hissed at the Elder near Zara. "Look at her! This isn't just about revenge, this is about helping ourselves before it's too late!"

"Brystianne, please," he said, tiredly.

"Look at her! We need to at lease get Roshan for her," Bree frowned. "I mean, I know I wouldn't rest until I got Nuk back if it were me. I'd bet Roshan would make her feel better!"

"Brystianne leave," the Elder said, angrily.

Bree stormed away, upset. Why wouldn't anyone listen to her.

Then panic rushed through her body. Something was very...wrong.

"Nuk!" Bree cried, running as fast as her legs would carry her. Something had happened to her dragon! He was very afraid and that was rare.

She would kill whoever had touched her dragon.

**Time to kick-start the death, hmm? Yep, you know what I'm going to do.... Hehe**

Zara:

The female Elder had walked away which left me with the male one. I looked around. Bree had left at a run. I grinned and lunged upwards, driving a dagger into his heart. The elder stared at me in shock and then collapsed on the floor beside my bed. I watched the life leave his eyes.

Sighing, I got up carefully and walked into the other room where the female elder had vanished into and found her leaning over a mixing bowl. Ah, so they had been drugging me. Making me weak on purpose. I narrowed my gaze at her and slowly approached her.

The elder didn't even notice me until I slit her throat. Once she had collapsed, I moved on to the next room, killing elders as I went. Soon enough all the elders I found were dead and I could leave.

I hid my dagger behind my back and limped back outside, looking for Ash. I groaned. They had her chained up? It was worse than what Eighth had done to Roshan. I raced over to Ash and slid the chin off her head, then set to work on freeing her.

Once I had all the chains off, I looked around to see Manarian's dragon watching me. I grinned, blew him a kiss and climbed up onto Ash's back. He snorted, glaring at me. I saw another rider's dragon come to see what Manarian's dragon was looking at.

"Take me back to Eighth," I whispered and Ash launched herself into the air. I heard a scream and then another. They had found their elders dead.

Manarian and Reitsprea

Manarian, Zara is outside and is hiding something behind her back! Manarian jerked upwards and bolted from the room at these words. If their suspicions about Zara were correct…

Reitsprea, he called, skidding around a corner. If she tries to leave, roar. I’ll be – he ducked into a room, as a shortcut, and… saw an Elder lying there, slumped over a mixing bowl.

“Damn,” Manarian swore and doubled his pace.

Roar, roar! Warn them! Outside, just as Zara’s mount was taking off, Reitsprea raised her head and let loose a deafening roar.

/Eighth-

I sat at the castle's highest point, waiting for Zara. Eventually, she came in sight, and I signaled her to hover close by. "Are they dead?" I asked. she nodded. "I think they might be on my tail." she said, glancing back. I cursed. "Quickly, get Roshan. Go to the village and tell them o prepare to fght. Report back here. If we sigh the riders, you are to lead them towards the village, where they will be trapped. Don't involve yourself i the fighting, come back here immediately and gear up for battle. If the Rider's don't show, I'll be setting a watch for when they do. The plan will then be the same. Got it?" I asked. She nodded. "Go." I commanded, and she dove back to where Roshan was being kept. I called mentally to Phobos, who was out hunting, and he came swooping back. I lept off the tower and onto his back. "We must find the Shadows and Natas, ans]d tell them to prepare for battle." I sad. He nodded, and we dove to the ground.

Alice:

Ash landed in front of me with a grin. I felt the corners of my mouth tug up and I swiftly hopped onto her back. I felt her scaled under my hand and smiled "Good, you're okay. Let's go Ash. We've got people to kill and a war to win."

BREE

"Nuk!" She screamed. "Nuk please come here!"

Bree was crying now. The lst thing she had done was yell at her dragon. Now he was alone and very afraid. Without her.

Then she was her dragon. Nuk was flying through the air towards Bree. He could feel her panic and guilt and terror. He felt bad about the arguement.

Bree felt Nuk's wings brush against her and she hurtled herself on her dragon.

"Nuk I'm so sorry," she sobbed. "Please-"

"Brystianne, we'll have time for this later," he said, although relived to be united with her again. "Haven't you heard?"

"Heard what?" Bree gulped.

"The Elders are dead. We're under attack," Nuk whispered. "I just found out."

Bree couldn't take a breath. "Then we find the riders and we fight!" she yelled.

*I brought Kidashka and Dragonet back in, as they asked. Work with me here, you guys. :)*

---

Manarian and Reitsprea

Young riders crowded into the meeting hall for the second time in so many hours. People were yelling, dragons were roaring, and calls for war were heard. Manarian and the other more senior riders were standing in a huddle. The small group consisted, largely, of those who had been chosen by the Elders for the scouting mission.

“This was an open attack on the Elders,” said Bree hotly. “We’ve got to fight back!”

“We know that, and I agree,” said Manarian quietly. “There is no need to shout about it.” Bree, irritated, opened her mouth to say something when another rider cut her off. Manarian remembered that she was called Tay.

“We should start now,” she said, looking at the group.

“Right,” said a tall young man named Kallo. “We have everything ready for the scouting expedition, after all.”

“Very well,” said Manarian slowly, “I suppose we are all agreed. We should leave soon. Tell everyone you see. We’re going to fight,” and hope that not too many will die, he added to Reitsprea.

We shall see, she said grimly.
