I kicked him in the back of the head.

Well! Voilence! :lol:

Luke

"Hey guys!" I smiled, walking over towards Spayce and Scott.

Scott looked up at me, an unpleasant frown on his face. Spayce didn't seem much happier either, to be honest. It didn't take me long to realise that they'd had an argument.

"Wow... who's died?" I laughed, sitting down next to them.

Scott glared at me, flicking his messy blonde hair off his face. Pfft. Sorry, don't blooming cry, I chuckled quietly to myself. Scott's glare became even angrier.

"God, I'm hungry," I sighed. "Do you guys have any food on you?"

"No, sorry." Spayce replied. "Didn't you eat, like, half an hour ago?"

Exactly. I hadn't had food in half an hour, that was hard for me. I liked my food. I didn't end up overweight or anything though, luckily. Working helped me stay healthy. In fact, I was pretty fit thanks to work.

"Yeah, your point is?" I shrugged.

Spayce laughed at my reaction, rolling her eyes. Scott even chuckled slightly.

"So, fellows." I said, mimicking an English accent. "Do you fancy some fish and chips? I'm hungry..."
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

Scott:

"So, fellows," Luke said in a British accent "do you fancy some fish and chips? I'm hungry." I rolled my eyes "You're always hungry! Your'ew gonna run us clean out of food one day!" I said jokingly. I stuffed my hands in my pockets and pulled out nothing but air. I shrugged "Sorry, don't have anything for you." He sighed and I stood up. I smacked Spayce across the back of the head and bolted. "No fair!" She cried. "I had trash duty today. My feet are killing me!"

"Sucks to be you!" I shouted over my shoulder.

Spayce: I growled at Scott's back and jumped off the swing, doing so I tripped over Luke and fell. "Ow," I screamed. He laughed and helped me up, standing up hisself. "Careful," he said lowly,"someone might get hurt." I rubbed my head and brushed dirt off my dress. "Yeah, that someone would most likely be me. Oh, if you go to the elementary school they're serving food there." He smiled and petted my head. "Thanks, Spayce." He ran off to the school and I limped away to find Scott.

Sam

I watched through half-closed eyes as a few of the other kids shoved each other around and bickered. A sigh escaped me; this place was better than the orphanage I used to live at, but there was an awful lot of fighting. Everyone was touchy and temperamental, at least in my opinion, and I just steered clear of them all.

"Hey Sam!" someone called, and I resisted the temptation to get up and bolt. Instead, I opened one eye and stared up at a girl - Macy, I think her name was. The bossy one.

"What?" I mumbled.

"We're going for dinner. You coming?"

I closed my eye, thinking, and also hoping that she'd get bored and walk away. When I opened my eye, though, she was still there, waiting expectantly.

"Fine," I sighed, standing up. Without waiting for her or anyone else, I started walking towards the school.

Sadie:

I walked silently to the school to dinner. I looked around at all the people here. So many of them. I sighed. Scott and I had helped so many people get out of bad lives, but I still felt empty.

Scott:

When I glanced back I could barely see Spayce. I sighed and hooked around a tree. Jogging back to her she made a pouty face at me as she limped. I rested my hand on her shoulder and forced her to sit down. I lowered her sock and examined her ankle, making sure she didn't twist it.

Spayce Scott grabbed my ankle and I let out a sharp hiss. "I know," he started," it's gonna hurt, just try to keep still." I nodded and bit my lip as I tried to keep from squirming, a few tears formed at the rim of my eyes from the pain but I managed not to squirm. "It's sprained," he said with a sigh," we'll need to brace it." My eyes got wider than usual as he lifted me from the ground. I folded my arms across my chest and pouted. "I blame you for this," I hissed.

Scott:

She made a pouty face at me and crossed her arms "I blame you for this." I let out a loud booming laugh. I stepped over a fallen tree and said "Yes, it's all my fault that you tripped over a person." When we finally got to the camp I placed her on one of the logs we used as a seat. "Stay there." I chuckled to myself "As if you could go anywhere."

I headed to the supply shelf and grabbed a brace for her ankle and something to wrap it with. When I returned to her I grabbed her ankle. She let out a his and I said defensively "Sorry! It's not like I can grab you anywhere else to wrap your ankle." Once I finished wrapping her ankle I placed the brace on it.

I stood up and she did the same. When she took a step forward she nearly fell. I caught her at last second and just to annoy her I picked her up and draped her over my shoulder "Put me down!" She screamed through laughter.

Spayce:
" Put me down!" For a moment I considered kicking but dismissed that thought for obvious reasons. He just ignored me and continued on his path to wherever. I hope it was the school, my stomach was starting to hurt. I punched him in the back but that had absolutely no effect. "You're a little as-"
" Watch your language," he laughed. I scowled at the ground and thrashed around a bit. "Keep still or I'll drop you!" I scoffed and wriggled around a bit more.
" You wouldn't dare," I hissed. But then again... I stopped thrashing and punched him in the back again while mumbling some obscenities under my breath. I shall be avenged!
" Help," I screamed. He laughed and and hoisted me up further. I just screamed louder.
" You're crazy," he sighed.
" I'll take that as a compliment," I sarcastically smiled at the ground and resumed my cries of distress.

"You're crazy." I said to her. "I take that as a compliment." and then she resumed screaming in my ear. Several people looked but did nothing. She still didn't stop shouting. I twisted my arm back and placed it over her mouth "Shut up already. People obviously aren't going to help." I entered the school and placed her on the ground "Happy? We're here."

Spayce:
I winced as my feet met ground. A harsh pain shot up through my leg but I tried my best to ignore it.
" Yes, actually. Very happy." I bit my lip and suddenly the four feet to the tables was 4 miles away. "Umm." Scott shook his head at me and then carried me to the tables. He stalked off to the line before I could thank him. Luke was attacking some poor slab of steak.
"Wow," I laughed, "ever thought about chewing?"

Simple, but seems like it could be pretty cool. Mind if I join?

Name: Theandra (Thea for short) Nichols [Thee-an-druh]

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Appearance: Image Wears a black tank top and ripped jeans. Covered in minor scars, cuts, and bruises. Pretty skinny and pale.

Skills: She's a tough fighter. She's not very smart but she can figure out what to do in tight situations. She's good at cleaning, cooking, and easy yard work, but you wouldn't expect it from her. She's a great artist and she's kind of good with younger people.

Personality: Cynical and angry a lot. She's truly gentle though and loves a good laugh. She's okay with pulling her own weight but she doesn't trust people easily.

History: Comes from a family of all boys. Mother died giving birth to her and her father/4 older brothers took it out on her. She decided she'd had enough of it and left looking for some town that kids had mentioned on the streets. She wasn't sure that she would find it, but she had to get away from all the violence.

Up For Love?: yeah

Flaws: She jumps to conclusions too quickly and acts on impulse and yells a lot.

***************************************************************************************

Thea wrapped her arms around herself as the sky began to darken. She winced as she touched the fresh bruises on her arms, but she was used to it. A thunderous roar shook her and she began to regret not having brought food along.

"This place probably doesn't even exist." she said aloud with a sigh. She couldn't go back though, not after what she said to her dad. That was the final fight and she wouldn't survive going back.

As she walked on, her legs began to weaken under her. She fells to her knees, wanting to cry, but not hurting enough to do so.

"This was such a mistake." she said again, to no one, when she heard voices. They were distant, but she knew she heard someone. Unless she was just going insane. It was a 50-50 chance. She got up and ran, leaving all her things where they had fallen. She hit a clearing and saw buildings and a multitude of teenagers heading towards one of the buildings. She ran towards it, but her legs wouldn't have any more of it. They gave in under her and she hit the ground. The fall made all her new bruises and cuts flare, but she didn't care. She had found it, and that's all that mattered.

***I hope that was okay and I didn't push it any. Let me know if I did.***

Name: Alexandra "Lexzi" Averbuck

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Appearance:

SDC12559-1.jpg (30.2 KiB) Viewed 228 times

Skills: She has strong muscles that help with many different tasks and plays video games like a boss. She is a straight A student. Lexzi also likes to climb trees.

Personality: Lexzi is known for her sarcasm (once you get to know her, of course), but she is naturally kind to everyone she meets. If she does come off mean to some people, it is usually not done on purpose. She's a big flirt due to her teasing, but she doesn't mean to lead people on.

History: She grew up in a small town, where everybody knew everybody. But everything got boring pretty fast, so she ran away.

Up For Love?: Of course.

Flaws: She is a slow-paced runner, and will do anything for others, even if it means sacrificing what she wants. She doesn't like taking a leadership role; she will usually sink into the background.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lexzi had been up a lone tree when she heard someone below her whispering to themself. Looking down, she saw a girl dressed in black fall to the ground, her hair spilling around her shoulders. Gasping, Lexzi jumped down from her branch in the tree and landed on her feet.
Lexzi looked down at the girl's body on the ground, and didn't know whether to touch her to see if she was alright. She then noticed cuts and bruises all over the girl's exposed skin. She decided not to touch the girl, assuming she had been abused in some way. She knew that if she touched her, she might flinch and snap at her, thinking Lexzi was someone else...someone more harmful.
Quietly she moved around the girl to stand near her head, bent down in a crouching position, and then whispered, hoping she wouldn't scare the girl. "Are you alright?" she asked as innocently as she could.
Don't worry, I was hoping more people would join.
Scott:
I grabbed two steaks and headed back to the table. I watched as everyone devoured their food "Guys, we seriously didn't eat that long ago." They all just looked at me and continued eating. I slowly ate my steak. I heard something and whipped around. "I'll be right back." I had to make sure no adults had found us. I they did, we'd all be in big trouble.
I saw two girls standing at the door. They looked at me amazed. I'm assumed they'd heard the stories and smiled at them "Don't worry, I don't bite." One of the girls looked harmed but I knew better than to ask "You guys hungry?"
Thea looked between the girl who had spoken and the young man who was asking about...something. She couldn't even tell. Her mouth was too dry to try and speak, and even if it wasn't, anxiety was choking anything she wanted to say out. She had went from not seeing anyone to two people talking to her, and the boy scared her. Any male scared her.
"Look, we have food inside. There's enough for you both." the boy said, jerking his head to the doorway. Thea tried to stand up. She wanted to grab onto the girl for support, but she dared not look weak. When she got to her feet, the girl reached her arm out.
"Need some help?" she said, smiling. Thea shook her head. They were both avoiding looking at her for too long, and that's when she noticed her jacket was still in the woods. She needed it, or everyone would stare, but it was just so far away.
"I'm Scott. We have steak, are you sure you don't want to come in?" The boy said. Thea's eyes widended and she found her voice.
"Steak? To eat?" She doesn't even remember having steak. Ever.
"Yeah. Come on in." He turned and she went to follow, but couldn't keep her legs and fell again. Scott and the other girl went to help her up.
"Wait." Thea said, grabbing the girl's wrist. "I don't know your name."
"I'm not sure what that has to do with anything," she said, with a small smirk. "But you can call me Lexzi. What about you?" Thea shook her head and wrapped an arm around the girl.
