The only morning I did not dread waking up to, was this one.
I woke up with a smile lined across my unchanged face. I have looked the same since September, no new unfriendly teenager parasites, probably yet another reason why people find me so attractive.
I was only happy because all I thought about for the past twelve hours was that shiny bodacious grin on the new girl's face.
First off, I would need to know her name. I was kicking around the room to find clothes to take in the bathroom to put on after my shower, when my foot tapped on a book underneath my bed. I picked it up, and stroked the edges with my pointing finger.
I blew on it like I usually saw people doing on TV shows.
Unfortunately, it did not work, therefore I had to bring it in the bathroom with me.
I washed the top of it with some water, and the rusted dust fled the book cover. The book read, The Battles Between Dragon Knights and Chaos Knights. I shrugged and flipped open the cover to poke around the pages with my frosted eyes.
In the year of 13,000 BC there were castles that held warriors of Chaos and warriors of Dragon. When all Hell broke loose between the thread that held the cultures together, the war began. People today know it as the Ice Age Ending War. In some legends there was said that both skills together could be strong enough to make an all powerful being known as the Chaos Dragon. He was only summoned when the strive between Dragon Knights and Chaos Knights was broken. He could breath fire up to extraordinary levels, and he was said to end the Ice Age with his flames.
Wow, what a weird story.
These legends were stupid, who would believe any of this?

I got ready quickly because of all the time I wasted on the book. I combed my hair fast, and felt its softness again. Still couldn't believe I got this lucky.
At school everything was different. When I walked in the school before the first bell, no one looked at me, even at lunch only Emily sat at our table. I couldn't imagine what I did wrong.
Then I noticed where all the usual girls that sat at our table were, they were leeching over the beautiful new girl, shooting gallons of questions at her. When she finally was out of the flood, I took my chance with her.
I told Emily I would meet her after school later, and when she was finally gone and done hugging me, I skipped to the new girl's side.
She stared up and me and scowled, "You here to welcome me to the school too?" she scolded.
I grinned a slightly crooked smile, and answered, "Not at all. I was hoping I could..." I hesitated. "Get your name."
She actually smiled at the remark, and trailed her fingers across my chest, "Katherine. My name's Katherine." Then she grasped my shirt and pushed me off, and strayed on to her bus.
Everything went dark, and I couldn't remember anything that happened.

I was in a strange meadow, with a creek in the center. I walked along the stream that brightened the meadow I could make out. I stared ahead and saw something ridiculously inordinate. On one side of the stream was darkness and death, whereas on the other side was filled with bubbly blue shiny lights.
On the dark side stood my girlfriend Emily, and on the lighted place across the stream stood the girl Katherine.
Only now did I notice I was in the middle of the stream, and everything was normal in the water, fresh. The water was fine, clean, and most of all, what I felt like I needed the most at this point, safe.
Then a flash of light sprung up to sting my eyes. I bent over to wash my face in the stream, and I glanced at my reflection.
"Choose," it whimpered to me.
We don't like it because it screams,
We like it because its BRUTEL

Oh my god, I loved it!!! Keep it up and PM me when you're on Chapter 3!!

I wonder if people felt the freedom in our culture to love louder, if they'd be quicker to say "I miss you" when the absence of someone is felt instead of just thinking it.
