This is more or less a filler chapter that I had to put in here to get them to where they are going. Nothing really happens....xD

Without really meaning to, Elsa found that she was eagerly anticipating the coming night. Her mother was startled to find her with her lights turned off at eight-thirty on a Saturday. Mostly to avoid questions, she merely pretended to be asleep already, and did a convincing groan when Mum flicked the lights on-off-on a few times.
Elsa had hoped to sleep, but found that such a thing was impossible. It was like Christmas Eve, thinking of what might be under the lavishly wrapped presents that were waiting to have their bright papers stripped away in the morning. But if anything, this was more exciting.
She kept thinking of what Rienzi had said, that one word that didn’t make any sense. Dreamwalker…
But even as she was thinking that sleep would be impossible, it came unbidden. Casting her into it’s darkness before her clock had even turned to nine.
“Poke her again.”
“I’m not doing it! I did it last time and she kicked me!”
“She’s asleep! Just give her a good hard poke.”
“I’m awake,” Elsa mumbled blearily, causing both of the brothers to jump. Still half asleep, she forced herself into a sitting position, “Did I kick you?” she added, rubbing her eyes and trying to get her hair out of her face. When had she fallen asleep? And why were the boys from the coffee shop in her bedroom…?
It came back more quickly then if Javier had hit her over the head with her own memories. Still slightly dazed from sleep, Elsa threw the covers off her, sliding out of bed and nearly stepping on Rienzi foot.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to fall asleep!” She exclaimed in a hasty whisper. “I was going to be ready when you arrived, but I was so tired –“
“It’s fine.” Rienzi cut her off with a light laugh. His feet were now out of danger as he had moved back beside his twin, who was lounging on the window sill and looking as though it was not fine. “We have some time, get dressed and then we’ll go.”
“But don’t take too long.” Javier added in a bored tone, examining the tips of his fingernails with surprisingly feminine delicacy.
“Right,” Elsa said with a not, then after only a slight hesitation, grabbed a t-shirt, sweater and jeans from the floor and hurried off into the bathroom to change.
Tip-toeing back along the hall only a few minutes later, she was about to open her bedroom door when she realized that she had left it ajar, and from inside her room, she could hear Rienzi and Javier’s hushed conversation.
She didn’t think this was too odd, considering that they wouldn’t be speaking in anything be whispers, but she paused when she heard her name.
“I don’t think Oblivion is going to be very happy,” Javier hissed, in a tone that was not at all pleased. “If she is the one that everyone has been looking for then I think everyone is going to be awfully disappointed.”
This Oblivion person was beginning to sound quite frightening, and Elsa was not looking forward to meeting him.
“I don’t know …” Rienzi’s tone was thoughtful and kind, and Elsa immediately liked him better for it. “She seems alright, a little lost, but all of the Forgotten were, right? I mean, we were.”
Forgotten? Another term she wasn’t used to, and she wasn’t sure about being called lost, but everything had been a little confusing lately.
“That’s different.”
“How?”
A pause, “She should hurry up.”
Elsa let a moment pass before silently swinging open the door and padding into her bedroom across the carpeted floor, and trying not to look like she had been eavesdropping, though she wasn’t entirely sure of how an eavesdropper would look.
“Finally,” she heard Javier mutter, rolling his eyes, but when she looked over, all she saw was Rienzi, who was smiling just as kindly as before.
“If you’re ready,” he said, in a tone that was the opposite of his brother’s. “We really should be leaving now.”
“Yeah,” Elsa replied, and she was shortly following Javier through the window with Rienzi close behind her.
The journey to Merriot was even swifter and more confusing then it had been when she had followed the spider through it the night before, if that was even possible. They seemed to be going a different route then she gone on before, whereas most of the turns she had taken were within alleys and dirt tracks, she was following Javier along white paved streets, thickly carpeted hallways, and under more then one white marble archway. She was mentally building a list of questions to ask ‘Oblivion’, and this method of travelling was going to be right at the top of her list.
It was the turn after what looked something like a cathedral that Javier stopped, so suddenly that she bumped into his back and received a sharp angry hiss as a response.
They were standing on a wide boulevard, it was nighttime, and when Elsa looked up at the dark sky, she could see what December meant about how her stars were merely trying to smile. These were so bright that there seemed to be nothing behind them, from where in her town, the stars hung against a black backdrop, these were up against something that were close to a bold blue. She was amazed.
“They are lovely, aren’t they?” to her surprise, when she looked to see who had said this, it was Javier who was staring up in the same kind of amazement at the sky. “I’ll never get used to them. They’re so much more … alive here. At home, they’re just bits of glass.” His drifted off, and Elsa found herself looking at him with a smile that couldn’t help but be partly amused.
It was only then that Javier seemed to remember that he didn’t like her, and started off down center of the street with his shoulders turned in a manner that make Elsa think that he wasn’t happy he had forgotten.
“Don’t mind him,” Rienzi said, his voice coming from so close to her ear, that she jumped away quite noticeably and got a wry smile from him in response. “He’s just grumpy because … well, he’ll be even grumpier if we don’t hurry, come on.”
And once again, just when Elsa had thought he was about to explain something, Rienzi hurried after his brother, taking hold of her elbow and pulling her along too.
Javier had stopped in front of one of the largest houses on the street. It was surrounded by a large stone wall, made from the same white rocks as the ones the road was. But it was so overgrown with ivy, that it was hard to see anything underneath it, at the front of property, after a small, white path was a huge wooden gate. It looked like it weighed five-hundred pounds and would take a battering ram to get it open. It was then that Elsa noticed the spikes on the top of the gate and on the wall surrounding it.
“What kind of place is this?” she asked, voicing her astonishment to the twins.
“Felix’s house,” Javier replied, as though she should have known that. “He doesn’t like nosy neighbors.”
“Well, you wouldn’t have guessed it from his house.” Elsa commented dryly, eyeing one of the gruesome stone gargoyles that were glaring down on them.
“I wouldn’t have said that,” Rienzi put in, “I thought it looks like—“
“Sarcasm, brother. Sarcasm.”
“Oh.”
Elsa was beginning to wonder what they were waiting for when the gate gave a sudden jolt and began to slowly swing inwards, as though it was on automatic hinges in need of repair.
“Well, this is it.” Javier said, sounding more gloomy then he had yet that night.
“Prepare to be amazed,” Rienzi added more cheerily, giving Elsa a nudge forwards, and it was in that manner, that they entered Felix’s garden.

LOVE IT! Get this published! But make sure you get it published in Australia as well. :D
I love the twins! I apologise for calling them similiar to Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, but at the start of the story that was how it appeared to me. These twins are WAY better than them! They sound hot ha ha ha (are we allowed to say "lol" on YWS?)

Today I bent the truth to be kind, and I have no regret, for I am far surer of what is kind than I am of what is true.
