I'm really excited. Not for the plot mind you, but for another notable event.

This will be the first movie with a CGI gryphon in it! Not just one, but hundreds! This is like a dream come true. Harry Potter came close with the hippogrif, but seeing an actual gryphon in action will make the movie for me.

If the voice is done by Eddie Murphy, then heads will roll.

It's been a while since I read that series. I really liked it, except that it had pretty much no humor that I could find. *sigh*

Grif... take a deep breath.

I'm excited too! The stories were wonderful. I just hope they don't cut out the "religious" parts of the film. And Aslan better be just right! *shakes fist*

I hope they don't, too. I think it's vague enough that they'll leave it in, especially since C. S. Lewis is such a popular CHRISTIAN writer.

*laughs* I was thrilled when I saw the white witch... It always bothered me in the animated one that you could tell right away she was supposed to be evil. She looks pretty in this one, which is exactly the way it should be.

And from what I saw of Aslan, he rocked too, but he didn't show up that much in the commercials.

And yes, Grif, Griffins!!! *joins him in being excited over the fact that griffins are finally gonna get thier day in the lime light*

The characters are still refered to as the Son's of Adam and the Daughter's of Eve. So you don't need to worry about them removing the Christian stuff.
I wrote the above just for you.

Actually there was one slight piece of humor in: A horse and bis boy. But, that was about it.

Yeah they are all done by christian groups. Jars of clay and News boys are some of my favorites.

for the soundtrack? *tries to imagine Jars of Clay and Newsboys doing the background music for the movie* that's... I mean, I like the bands and all, but it's not the epic theme I thought they were going for...

Weird...from what I heard it sounded very LOTR-ish
