YES.

Or I shall die in the attempt.

I attempted it last year; failed on day one.

I'll make it to day two this year, I swear!

Just write -- the rest of life will follow.

Would love help on this.

NUH-UH, you can't fail on day one unless you refuse to play catch up!

It really is too bad that I fail at poetry in general, or else I might attempt it.

Oh, and there's those things called AP tests coming up that need studying for...

*shrugs*

Have fun guys!

can't wait!
I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

I'm going to try it! Last year, I didn't continue after day four. This year, I'm hoping I at least get through day five! :D

As long as you get better than last year, I'd say it's a success.

For great success, however, try all thirty flavors!

So can we write thirty poems on the last day and have that count? Or is it a one-poem-a-day deal?
"Let's eat, Grandma!" as opposed to "Let's eat Grandma!": punctuation saves lives.

Technically, I think that you can write thirty days on the last or first day and have it count, but of course for variation, differing inspiration and TIME, it would be best to write one a day, to spread it out and see what kinds of poems fall on different days and if you can pull poems out of your hat EVERY day rather than ONE day.

That was a really long sentence.

It's also done just to get ahead or prepare yourself for when you don't write your daily poem. Like a buffer. Like in NaNo, people write more than 1667 words a day just in case (and some finish in more or less a week). NaPo's the same way. :D

Yeah, or that for those of us who know how to think ahead!

Thinking ahead? What's that? I'll just catch up. xD
