This is one of those pictures I didn't mean to turn out cool-looking (but the desk lamp shining in my face made it that way.) So I played with it a bit. Tell me what you think!
I think this might be my first foray into photography, so I would especially like awesome input from photographers. Also, used a teensy bit of Photoshop, if that matters. But input from everyone is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Do I spy alpha on your avatar? Anyway, that's a good photo, especially as it marks you entry into photography! So here are my comments.
1.Lighting: Good work, even if it was accidental. 2.I'm a bit mixed about your eyes. No, I mean they're beautiful, but I think it'd look better if you didn't look into the camera lens. 3.Beautiful tattoo, but the pose doesn't really justify it. 4.Also; the background is a bit disturbing. I would suggest you to take it against a plain wall.
So, it marks a good beginning. Keep clicking! ~Lava
