Yep! Let's start this thing!

Burns,

I stare at the smoky trails that the Arcs leave in the sky as they leave Earth. They just left us behind, to clean up their mess. My hands clench. Weaklings. I take my eyes off of the Arcs, and turn to the meager pile of supplies that has been left to me. Feeling lonely, I call to my dog, who I'd un-mutated a while back. Shay runs to my side, her tongue hanging out of her mouth. Under my gas mask, I smile.

"Just you and me, huh?" I say scratching her behind the ears. She barks happily.

"Well, we'd better find SOMEONE else, though," I say, thoughtfully, "Otherwise we won't do much good..."

So saying, I pick up my leather satchel, stuff a few provisions into it, and walk into the mutant jungle.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Lila

I stared at the Arc that carried my sister away to Mars. I resisted the urge to cry, I was going to make this world better for her. I picked up the supplies that they had left me with and began walking across the barren toxic land. I was breathing in quickly, trying to change the atmosphere back into breathable air as fast as possible.

"You don't have to breathe in that fast." A voice said, it was followed by a short bark. I spun around, raising my hands in defence. I had heard tales of the mutants, humans but intent on destroying Surviors. And then there was the mutant flora and fauna. But it wasn't a mutant, it was another Saviour.

"Hi. I'm Burns," he said extending his hand. "This is Shay." He indicated the dog that appeared to be normal. I lowered my hands and took his.

"Lila," I said shaking it. "I was only trying to clear the air faster, then I can see my sister again."

He nodded in an understanding way. "You're a new Survivor no?"

I nodded wondering how he knew.

"You'll soon learn that these things take time."

Name: Jonathon Sikes

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Description: Dark brown hair, amber colored eyes, medium/light build. Likes to dress well, mostly in formal wear or colorful clothes.

Personality: Likes to read. Appreciates the fact that a lot of books have been left outside. Can be somewhat annoying. Very intelligent.

Power: Mutation-can cause and control the mutation of other animals/people, again, works within a ten foot radius. Can also mutate himself, and negate the anti-mutating effects of Saviors. However, cannot do anything else with his mutation ability while he's doing this. Also, has limited control over mutant animals in the ten foot radius(ex. he can keep them from killing him). Does not need a gas mask.

Weakness/Strengths: Lack of experience. He can mutate into a flying animal, but he has to learn how to fly on his own. Hates fighting. He can be poisoned by an overload of a "normal" mix of gasses, if he doesn't have time to adjust. Body will naturally adjust to new conditions. Heals rapidly. Has to be able to concentrate to control mutation, and to control mutants.

Short Bio: He volunteered to become a Savior. The scientists were surprised when his presence accelerated mutation. When he learned his parents had beenkilled in a air leak (air from outside leaked in) he ran off. His personal mission is to "promote diversity", and a lot of his creations aren't very dangerous.

Other: He is a dinosaur nut. He is gay, and up for love.

I look up at the Arc leaving the planet. It was a pretty scene, in a wierd way. Somewhat a comfort in the dark times.

I go up to a girl, "When do we start?"

She turns to me, her brown hair swishes around. Even with the small, almost invisible mask she uses to breath clearly displayed on her face, she is georgeous.

"When we can, when we are told, I supose." She says. Her voice is clear, like running water.

"And your talent?"

"Water purification."

"Strength," I say, "Watch this!" I take a long, thick stick, position it over two rocks, and karate chop it in half. She laughs.

She touches a small pool of water on the ground, which was green and murky, and turns it clear.
Love is beautiful, but what would love be without life?

I stood behind a rock, clenching my fists. They were such fools. Running around, showing off their powers. They were just like my mother. And if they weren't destroyed, they would soon be just like her: abusive, uncaring. I adjusted my mask, it was too small on me. I had had it since I was little. Later, I thought, I would steal one of their extras, if they had any. For now, I watched, scoping out their weaknesses. The strong one was ignorant. Maybe even boastful... it was too early to tell. The water one... she was airy, not quite down-to-earth, so it seemed.
I snapped the wrist of my glove out of habit, and one of them turned. "What was that?" they ask. I can't tell who, as I have slouched down so they cannot see me. They soon turn back to their childish business. I will plan more, and eventually, make my move.
Honey, you should see me in a crown.

I watch the last of the arcs disappear into the murky sky. Running away from their problems. I continue to watch the sky for a long time.

Finally, I break my gaze, realizing I'd better get my bearings. I was standing on a hill, with the sickly-looking jungle not far below. I hear voices nearby, and head off to investigate.
When it comes to havoc, nobody wreaks like me!

Burns,

"You'll soon learn that these things take time," I say gently to Lila. She looks disappointed.

"I just want to see her again so badly," she whispers.

"And I'm sure you will," I say brightly, "And if we get to work now, the sooner that'll be, hopefully!"

She smiles, and Shay puts her head under hand, looking happy.

"She's a nice dog," Lila says.

"That she is," I say, "I heard voices coming from over there," I say, pointing, "Let's go check it out."

Lila,

Burns and I walked towards the source of the noise. I was happy to have him around, his power meant that I wouldn't meet any freaky mutant flora and fauna and he was a nice guy. I watched in amazement as the plants and creatures we passed changed back to the way I remebered seeing them in pictures when I was little. I wondered what continent we had been dropped on, from the look of the animals it was no-where exotic. We soon found the source of the noise. More Saviours were gathered showing off their powers.

There was a water purifier or two and a Saviour with the soul purpose to protect us. They were a welcome sight, it meant that within our party we had the powers to make the whole planet better in every way. The more I thought about the size of the planet the more I felt down. Burns seemed to notice.

"Buck up, we have a good team here, we will get the job done and you'll be able to see your sister again." He said smiling and taking my hand. We walked up to the group together.

"Hi," Burns said attracting their attention.

Jonathon-I almost screamed in frustration as my seventh model for my flying spider was snatched out of the air, seconds after it took off, by a bird-not a mutant bird, but by a pigeon.I should make them faster. And poisonous.
Suddenly my ears were filled with a shriek, and pain split my head. A dark shape passed overhead, and the noise came again. A large bat fluttered down, landing beside me.Once again, the piercing scream, the pain renewed. My eyes were closed from the pain. The screech cut off abruptly, with a slight gurgle, and I could hear someone talking to me. I just lay there with my eyes shut, my ears still ringing from the banshee's call.

The Arc disappeared, leaving me alone and with no supplies. They probably did that so that I was forced to go look for the other saviors. I took a deep breath in my mask, I hate this place. I began walking around in the mutant jungle. I didn't want to yell for them, I hate talking so I figured stomping and making loud noises would get their attention. That's when I heard a noise...

Burns,

"Hi," I say to the group of Saviors, "You know, showing off your powers doesn't really get anything done..."

I hear what I think is a snort from a bush a few feet away, but when I look closer, there's nothing there.

"Anyway," I continue, "Why don't we all travel together? It'll be easier that way."

I looked over to where the direction the noise was coming from. I walked over slowly peering through the bushes. A bunch of saviors stood there, talking and chatting and having a jolly good time.
"You know, showing off your powers doesn't really get anything done..."
I heard one boy say.
I snorted.
He paused and walked in the direction of the bushes. I quickly ran away so that he couldn't see me. He shrugged and walked away.

*RedBird, is Silversun coming back?*
**also, I dunno if it was Calli or Coita Kaywiia mentioned, so until we get to a first-name basis, can we at least leave hints so that people don't get confused (even if I'm the only one lost!)**

Calli

I'd heard the noise too and watched as the oldest guy went to check it out. He came back a moment later and shrugged. "I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary." Judging by the fleeting glance he gave me, I realized his eyes were a hazy, pale color that only appeared when someone was blind. Then again, I wasn't sure if it was just a side-effect of his "experiments".

"Okay," I said after a moment of silence, "I'm lost. I'm Calli, but who's who among you?" I realized it rhymed and fought the urge to point it out. Acting like a little kid because of an awkward silence wouldn't help me any.

I pushed myself off the tree trunk and sighed. Zesix looked up at me, his purple eyes locking with mine for a moment. And suddenly I remembered something; today was when everyone was supposed to leave the planet. So long as the fun doesn't stop, I thought agitatedly. "C'mon, let's find something to do," I told Zesix boredly.

He stood and stretched, flexing his long claws and swishing his striped tail back and forth. It felt good to know he wasn't thinking of me as an idiot right then, because I probably would've gone insane without him.

Cracking my knuckles and yawning, I set off towards the west and hopefully towards some fun. I had to think up the perfect scheme for my newest victim.

*okay?*
I gave up telling people I hear voices. So now I talk to the voices instead.

"I'm Burns and this is Lila," Burns said in response to Calli's question. He beckoned to me to step forward, until now I had been lurking behind him as I wasn't good with strangers. I stepped into the circle and nodded in Calli's direction. Burns lent down to my height and whispered in my ear.

"Don't worry, I'm sure they don't bite."

I smiled and became more confident, at least Burns seemed to be friendly. The rest of the group introduced themselves and we came to the decision that we should work together. Between us we had all the powers necessary to cleanse the Earth but I hoped that we weren't the only Survivors, it would take a long time to cleanse Earth if we were.
